I can't imagine trying to use the pencil or touchscreen much on a Macbook unless it's a convertible and can lie flat. Won't the screen wiggle, or your arms get tired?
Thats a good point, but I'm assuming they have some sort of design solution for this if it is indeed a touchscreen.

It'd be nice if the next version of the Air Tags were rechargeable rather than having a replaceable battery and they could be recharged with the watch charger. They'd be much thinner and more water resistant.
So those who don't own a apple watch and don't have a charger would have to buy one?

It's not in any rumors, but if the Vision Pro came with an updated battery pack that OG pro owners could also buy, that would be amazing.

So I ask all of you who are expressing disappointment and frustration with Apple, what would be your reasonable expectations for new Apple products?
hi. something exciting... Everything Apple is getting outdated. Nothing beats the competition... Xiaomi has a new phone that has dual screens, Leica camera, 120HZ, more ram, more battery and more. Other brands' laptops are also touch screen and have dual screens. Bendable phones. Home pods with screens and a working AI assistant. Not Siri which still doesn't know half the stuff you ask it. An Apple TV with a camera and notification on screen.
The only thing that is actually good lately are the amazing AirPods Pro 3. The Apple Watch is great but just ok, but I have an Ultra 2 and the new one doesn't justify the upgrade.
iPads are good but nothing new. Just a new chip and 1mm smaller bezels.
A 6k iMac in 32" like before.
The OPTIONAL stand for the Studio Display is $999 and it doesn't even go up or down. Ridiculous.
Mac Book Pros have looked the same for 10 years.
I can go on and on...
Cheers

I asked for an intelligent, reasonable list. That's not what you gave me.

It's so absurd, I won't even go point by point.

why would you want two? just curious. different sizes and I know everyone has their needs, but I have never heard of someone having two fairly new iPads just for themselves.

work and personal?

same. one Apple TV, one HomePod Mini and a pack of AirTags.

I’ll wait for the redesigned MBP and iPad Pro.
I bought a 12.9” M1 iPad Pro 1TB/5G for a steal with 0% from Best Buy and then 3 weeks later, Woot had a brand new 11” M1 iPad Pro 2TB Wi-Fi for $799, which I snapped up and never looked back. I like both sizes, but I use the 11” more and probably could do without the 12.9” even though I would miss the 5G feature which I haven’t activated, so do I really need it. That said, I do like the 12.9” when I need a larger screen. I wouldn’t own two if I hadn’t gotten such spectacular deals on them and literally 0% financing on both. Anyways, First World problems.

Ideally the Tags would come with a charger in a particular SKU, if you needed one.
Sure, then you and the rest of the Apple haters would complain about the cost. Your proposal makes no sense. The current battery takes about 3 seconds to change very infrequently. Of your 23,000 posts, have any of them been complementary of Apple? Nope.

Why are you even here then? I miss when these forums were full of hopeful Apple fans with legitimate criticisms. Now they’re being replaced with whatever this is.
Absolutely. I used to like this forum when intelligence and common sense were the order of the day. But it has been allowed to morph into something that is childish and full of absurd and nonsensical Apple hate. How can anyone with intelligence and the desire to learn want to read post after post of Apple hate?

I was in an Apple store the other day. I and a few other people started talking about Apple and the various Apple related forums. Everyone of us ended up talking about how useless the threads on MacRumors have become. MacRumors insist on intelligent discussions, yet look what they have allowed to happen to this forum. Very sad, but not surprising.

Even the front page articles have become so repetitive that I skip most of them now. Bad actors have taken over the forum with the obvious blessing of the staff. I hope they are proud of their accomplishments. I'll say goodbye as this post will surely get me booted, which really won't be any loss as I can still read the rare front page article that isn't repetitive or as absurd as the recent one that compared the Airpod Pro 3 with the Airpod Max. Talk about article desperation.

Reviews of Xiaomi products don’t seem so positive online.

Summary - it’s a cheap clone of the iPhone that does a better job of replicating its spec sheet than it does the overall user experience.

Which is a recurring trend I am seeing with the competition, and an issue I have with criticism aimed at Apple in general. Too much emphasis on paper specs, not enough focus on the experience.
