Just an iPhone with at least one week battery time, with bezels, no wrap around screen, non foldable and a camera/mic you can physically cover/disable and mini size so that it easily fits in your pocket (and doesn't stick out).
This sounds like a practical nightmare to me. I already have a hard time just holding my phone sometimes without accidently activating some function, cause the screen is covering the entire front.
All I want is a phone that uses its cameras to sense the surrounding environment and modifies its display for camouflage so I have an excuse when I lose my phone. Is that too much to ask for, an invisible iPhone?
It’s just a digital overlay at the top of our screens. It currently works around the existing ‘island’ around the Face ID and camera hardware. Remove those pieces of hardware and a Dynamic Island can still be created in the same style/shape/format as the current one. One potential advantage is there’d be room for some new animations — disappear from the centre, break up into multiple parts, etc. since there would be no hardware limiting the options.
No island, sign me up. The only other thing I would ask for is a slightly larger screen, say 7". Maybe an adapter to use an external portable i-satellite antenna through USB C when using in remote locations for emergency use.
