I can't believe these morons are going to bring out the iPhone X plus the size of the iPhone 8 plus. Instead of just giving us the SCREEN SIZE of the iPhone 8 plus in a smaller body (bezel-less). Nobody enjoys carrying around a phone that large!!!! It's been the only complaint of the plus size phones for 3 generations... we love the screen size... we hate the big bulky phone. How is this not completely obvious to anyone with a half a brain cell?

We don't hate this "big bulky phone" you speak of. It will be just about the same physical size of a iPhone 8 Plus with a bigger screen going to the edge. Lots people will like that. If you don't stick with the smaller iPhone X size.

You seem the fail to realize that in a lot of the world and for a lot of people in the US the phone is there primary computer so a bigger screen is a huge plus to them.

People don't have a problem caring around a phone the size of a iPhone 8 Plus thats clear by the number of sales the plus size phones have done.

Imagine what that is going to cost!!!!

If they want to rekindle interest they need to evaluate their pricing strategy. Although I did go for the iPhoneX I don't think I would upgrade again very quickly, at least for another 2-3 years. Samsung seem to fit a shedload into their handsets for a lower overall cost.

That must be a difficult phone to render the plus size version. They literally just took the corner and dragged it to be a little bit bigger. Lots of skill there!

Dual Sim? Adding that for the hype and clicks.
No, it's incredibly important for me. I do international business and hold SIM cards for a few countries. When in one country I use two competing providers because the coverage is so spotty across the country. I work in education (not military or high dollar industries) before anyone jumps to conclusions.

Right now I keep a super cheap Android phone just to have the dual sim model for the aforementioned country.

iPhones, while cool are terribly overpriced. Now the iPhone x continues the tradition. the X plus is going to be unrealistic. Also the iPads are ridiculous. instead of just upgrading, they call it "pro" and double the price. iPad mini which is over 2 years old does not get a price reduction and or an update anytime soon. If i smell the correct rumours, it will either be EOL'd or turned into a pro or both.

While adding a dual sim would be great and very interesting, I just can't see Apple doing it for the simple fact that they can't help but F up iMessage for sim-swappers when there is only ONE sim let alone multiple SIMs and make it a known practice.

If the OS hasn't changed drastically then this thing is DOA. There needs to be major software enhancements before I'll touch any new iPhone.

My half a brain cell is very excited for an even larger screen. I have never had any problems with the size of the Plus phones. They fit in my pocket perfectly.

From the article "the new handset will probably enable split-screen modes for certain apps" that would be great on the 6.5" iPhone X Plus, i also wonder if Apple will release a smaller Apple Pencil?

And:

"With the new lineup, Apple wants to appeal to the growing number of consumers who crave the multitasking attributes of so-called phablets" - I wonder if they will add new features in IOS 12 that we will see demoed on the Plus version, things like multitasking and so on.

I think if Apple were to do a Note like device (only better with IOS) then i would probably scrap my plan of sticking with my iPhone X until next year and buy it.

Please make one that's smaller. I have big hands and it's still annoying that I can't use my phone with one hand. Even if we went back to the dimensions of the iphone 8 that would be nice.

Time to start selling my body on the World Wide Web to be able to afford that beast by September

/s sorta

Can't wait for E-SIM to be implemented on the iPhone. Being stuck with removable pieces of plastic in 2018 is mind boggling.

Horrible idea. Carries would take the opportunity to lock it down while selling it as a „feature“. Good luck abroad

True. There is literally nothing of value on the X I cannot do on my iPhone 6. I only updated to the iPhone 7 Plus at the time cuz I wanted a bigger screen. Like what are you going to do differently on the X right now besides a different method to unlock. Back to the same Apps I have been using on my 6 just a little faster

iPhone X is the most boring phone in the universe!

Bring on the iPhone X Plus!
You mean the iPhone 10s Plus. I think the ‘X’ was a one-off and Apple will return to numbers as well as the ‘s’ moniker. The people at Apple usually call the X iPhone 10 when they speak about it.

Apple is said to be aiming to offer "a model for everyone" to rekindle iPhone sales after iPhone X sales came in lower than analyst expectations last quarter.
Apple begins developing their phones years in advance, so I doubt the new models are a reaction to the (as yet unknown) sales stats over the past few months.

For the larger iPhone model, Apple is said to be considering implementing a dual-SIM feature that would make it easier for people to switch carriers when traveling
IMO, it would be unlike Apple to encourage customers fiddling with the SIM trays.
