Saying “screen strapped to your head” isn‘t doing it justice.. If the lenses and separation are set up right the depth perception makes it much more real feeling than anything else. It’s hard not to reach out and try to touch things when its working perfectly.Idk I think overlays of a real world are more immersive than a screen strapped to your head lol. Both are interesting but there's nothing special about vr(just a screen with motion sensors)
What game would you recommend for vr that truly showcase how good it is? The ones I have played are all half baked.
Elite Dangerous, Eurotruck simulator, Alien Isolation, Minecraft, Resident Evil 7 have been my favourites so far. Euclidean is cool too. Scanner Sombre’s vr mode is new and really nice, but currently requires motion controls.
