Just what the world needs more of - more iWatch bands.

Well, if that doesn't satisfy you then maybe this will. I heard on good authority that TC will also be announcing the AW sock. It's a sock you can put your AW in when you travel. It's made of 100% pima cotton and an amazing accessory every AW owner will want. It comes in Nike, Hermes, Product Red, and Apple variations. :D

So in other words, I purchased a Verizon iPad Air 2 in October, thinking it would be at least another year before the Air would receive another upgrade...

Course you do recognize that the Air 2 was already a year old when you purchased it ... right?

I just upgraded to iOS 9.2.1 and it broke my Touch ID and devastated my battery life. Apple thinks the software update may have "exposed" flaws in the out of warranty hardware. I really hope they actually announce this phone whatever it is. Never knew how dependent I'd become on Tiuch ID. Now that I'm office bound battery life is nit that essential, but can't live like this.
It happens ALL the time. Why do you think apple pushes updates as hard as they do?

To all of the tech-experts in here who think the 5se is just a pointless minor bump that doesn't need an event:

My mother actually asked me about it the other day and I can promise you she is NOT reading Apple rumor sites. Not only did this news somehow get to her, she and my father are both very excited by the concept of this phone.

I can't even remember the last time she asked me about an Apple product before the official announcement.

Once again, the Mac Rumors forum posters make the mistake of thinking their needs are normal or average.

They usually update other lines at the same time. Probably skylake for laptops. With all the research & development power apple has - they might surprise us with updated hardware design on MBP and MBA?

We the professionals nedd a new macbook pro 15" with 4k Screen, 32gb RAM capacity and dedicated video card with at least 4 GB Vram

I refuse to believe 'iPhone 5se' is the name until it's official. That is a horrible name.

Regardless it's going to sell very well for Apple. Low price of entry plus I know a lot of people holding onto their iPhone 5/5S/5C because of the smaller form factor. I'm so glad they will continue to offer a 4" iPhone!

As much as i would like to get the new 4” iPhone, i rather to see it coming with A8\2GB RAM then A9\1GB RAM (if not A9\2GB RAM).
Either way, its all about the price in relation to the other models - finger crossed for €350 for the base model...

I think it's a great move if the iPad Air 3 have 4 gb of ram. But I do think the new airs are gonna have the same resolution as the iPad Pro. If they do that it would force revs to update the apps much quicker.

I like it, however, you are way off on the pricing model, Apple is no way going to lower the price of the 128GB by $200, not yet anyway. Apple will keeps it's profit margin on these phones for many years to come...

iPhone 7 (4.0")
32 GB - $549.99
64 GB - $649.99
128 GB - $749.99

iPhone 7 (4.7")
32 GB - $649.99
64 GB - $749.99
128 GB - $849.99

iPhone 7 (5.5")
32 GB - $749.99
64 GB - $849.99
128 GB - $949.99
264 GB - $1049.99

This is closer...but I still see the 7 coming out with the 16/64/128.

A lot of people automatically upgrade to the 64 and pay the extra $100. ($95 of which is pure profit). Apple won't want those customers to 'settle' for a 32 gig base model.

Gotta feed the profit monster.

Facetime camera on the watch what for? To drain the battery like crazy? The phone/watch interaction/responsiveness when it comes to taking photos is already a bad joke, don't even want to think what happens when we add video to the mix.

I'm not that put off by the name "5se." It is easy to look at the numbering as indicative of features, but this would cement the numbering as indicative of design style (which orphans my beloved 5c even more). We haven't seen it, but I keep hearing in the rumors that it looks like a 5S with a couple of changes. If it does look mostly like a 5S, then keeping the 5 naming makes some sense when you look at it this way.

That kind of convention may not serve Apple well, though, given its one-phone-a-year schedule up to this point. It would make more sense if they moved forward all phone lines each year or two without retiring the designs so fast. But there are probably problems of scale involved in doing that.

Are they really gonna call it 5se? What's wrong with apple.. What that even means?

Excited to see the 4" iPhone though I really do want a 5" iPhone (I've gone from 3.5" to 4" to 4.7" to 5.5"), I think it's the perfect sweet spot for a phone.

"Skylake" and "Mac" in the same sentence is pretty much a joke at this point.

With the Surface issues Microsoft has been having due to Skylake cpu problems, I think you meant to say: "Skylake" and "Surface" in the same sentence is pretty much a joke at this point.

Good on Apple for not jumping the gun on Skylake until Intel can deliver cpus in volume without technical issues.
