15 minutes after Macrumors updated their front page post, saying that Apple had replaced the previews with the earlier iOS 8 and iPad Air (1) images AND on my iPad I could see that the images had been replaced, I decided to take a look via my iMac. Indeed the pictures were back, showing the iOS 8.1 guide with iPad Air 2 and there was _no way_ that these images could have been cached on my iMac.

This has to be a deliberate attempt at drawing attention away from the big-G and get people talking about the new iPad(s). Why would the images have reappeared otherwise?

Although, saying that, when I updated my iBook via iTunesConnect some months ago, even though the updated book was sat in the queue at Apple for verification, iTunesConnect allowed me to update the screenshots to those from my updated version, meaning anyone buying the book would see new screenshots and got an older version of the book until the update was released - so I can understand how this can happen without the person doing it realizing.

I don't get it. What's the 'been way too long' part???

It has to be a sarcastic remark, namely that they had the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus products on show, Watch etc only a short time ago. Now they have loads of new products after such a short interval.

Have you tested on some other WIFI network. If you get the same issue on all networks, it is a hardware problem. If it is ONLY on a few, it is likely a software issue.

Did you go to an Apple store to check it out?

It's iOS 8 issue and it's widespread. My mini, iphone 5s on iOS 7.1.2 were fine before. All updated to iOS 8.0.2 and they all have a wifi bug. My new iphone 6 too, and my sister's iphone 6 as well. Not a hardware issue.

Google just announced the Nexus 9 tablet so....yeah...this isn't on accident.
People saying "Apple did this while Google did that" are the only ones who draw my attention to Google announcements. I would completely ignore all Nexus products, if not for those who keep telling me, this is the supposed competition to Apple you need to be aware of. I'm sick of all those iPhone, iPad, iSomething killers. Just stop it, one or two CEOs later Google will probably abandon it's ill-fated foray into hardware anyway.
