I bet apple is loving this....oh the anticipation!!!! :p

is it gonna be an iPhone 4s or 5....only they know and you will only know when
they tell you......

re pic of mr cook

oh well your debut on center stage will not be of a sexy ip5 but the ip4s

oh well - next time hopefully soon

Well, I guess we can stop obsessing about when the event will be. Looks like there's significant evidence about what might and might not be announced at the event (as in no significant external redesign). I might just have to stay away from MR for the next 2 weeks in order to remain objective about all of this.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

The iPhone release delay is due manufacturing. Apple is using the liquid metal technology they acquired a few years back. Oops I think I said too much.

ImNoSuperman.. ur a nut..

lol. kids at gizmodo got so excited, they even forgot how many days there are in a week...

Need a bigger screen

I love my iPhone, but I guess because of my age I just cannot see it and am often squinting and struggling to read. If only it were about one inch higher and a half inch wider, it would be truly perfect. When I mention this to the apple store, they say people want small phones to fit in pockets, etc. If you agree with me, please let apple know. Bigger screen!

It took them 5 years to get the model number, the processor number and the iOS version being the same. Calling it anything other than iPhone 5 will be nothing but silly. October 4th? Surely the 5th would have been more appropriate.

you should've sent them an email earlier! would've been holding an iPhone 5 as of 5th of May 2011.

Wow, this is really incredible! Apple is incomparable when it comes to manufacturing mobile phones. iPhone 5 is another good investment and it is suited for my needs. I am excited to buy it!

I would take iPhone's 3.5" with the high resolution display over any 4+" Android any day. On iPhone 4 when I'm reading websites I don't have it zoom in or switch to landscape to be able to read text. Because of the high resolution I can see every text clearly. However on my Samsung Galaxy S2's 4.3" I either have to zoom in or switch to landscape, because of the poor low resolution. So really it's not about the size for me, it's the resolution.

Resolution does not make text bigger or more readable. I'm always zoomed into my iPhone because not of the pixelated fonts (I'm quite used to pixelated fonts), but because the font sizes are too small.

And the Galaxy S2 is 800x480, It's not what I would call low resolution or poor.

sorry just had to bring up the standard argument.

Funny, I'm speaking from experience. And that's what I have to do, switch to landscape or zoom in on the Galaxy S2.

While the Super AMOLED + produces deep blacks, I'd prefer natural colors. And yes it is low for a 4.3".

I honestly cannot wait for this event. If only to see who does the Keynote. We all expect Tim Cook to do it but all we can do is speculate.

They're going to have to do a refresher of all the features, because thing long after they first introduced iOS5 I don't remember many of the new features. I only remember the twitter integration, icould, and PC-Free...
