Apple's iPhone 5 Pre-order Shipping Estimates Slip to Two Weeks

I guess most people in the UK still havent woke up yet.

Either that, or Apple were very generous with stock 😉
 
freakin Apple site said I had no account, regular ATT site wa sjust bogged down.. finally went thru premier site and it worked fine...mehhh
 
The leaks happen because so many phones are being produced early in order to meet initial demand, yet the demand still can't be met.
 
Ugh!

I needed to transfer my AT&T number to a new account (off a family plan that I am on). It wouldn't let me do it because the number I wanted to keep was 'already with AT&T'....

Long story short, before I finally figured out that I'm going to have to upgrade while on the family plan and then move over to my own plan...it was too late and shipping date slipped to two weeks. UGH!

Trying to order from ATTs site...veeery slow...
 
Unfortunately, my 64gig black AT&T iPhone 5 is among the first to get the "available to ship: 2 weeks" e-mail, less than an hour after ordering opened up. 🙁

I wonder if the 64s are selling fastest.

granted it's not the middle of the night everywhere but rather 99% of the US and all of canada. Hawaii had a nice 9pm preorder time.

not sure if orders have slipped in europe, asia, or australia?
 
This ain't no 4s.... They don't have millions of components lying around from the last year.

Stupid if you weren't waiting at midnight. Better go camp out now if you didn't.

Sorry folks, but this isn't that surprising. The 4 launched when it was still only mildly cool to have an iPhone. Now that even my wife wants one, it's just supply and demand.

Supply of a phone that people have been waiting a year for, and has brand new components and connectors. They didn't have a stockpile.

My 64gb black has been charged on full, and updated to processing with a delivery date of the 21st. Glad I was a big boy and stayed up an extra hour lol...

I'll drive by the campers and wave though!

HAHA! ALL of those articles that "iPhone 5 is a disappointment".......and it completely exhausted Pre-Orders within 1 hour. lol. 😀

my money would be on the 32 being the most sought after as it really should of been the minimum size
 
the apple stores usuaully have extra phones on release day ( atleast i think if anyone wants to double check that) so if you go in on release day at apple store you can probably still get one.
