Steve Job's Apple is officially dead...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?![]()
what about iOS?This monstrosity would never get near my iPhone.
Translation: I don't like this, here's what I would have done instead....just replace "I" with "Steve". The same Steve that approved the hockey puck mouse and an upside down Apple logo when facing outwards (looked really great in all those Sex and the City episodes). It really is nice of Apple to try, but yes, there are better options out there. The title of the thread is the understatement of the century.
Such truth. Steve would've never made a case for a case this . . . . . questionable.
I have a good feeling he would've at the very least, made the case to be one solid battery all around like the Mophie options. The wart in the back is a bit odd and unsettling.
Everything about The Verge is an embarrassment. I guess this will tide the outrage crowd over for the holidays...I think the Verge summed it up well with the title on their video:
Apple’s new $99 iPhone battery case is a design embarrassment
Form follows function. If there doesn't need to be extra plastic casing, don't include it. The just outlines the shape of the battery, nothing more. I like it.
