I wonder if it will work with older iPhone models. I still have the original MagSafe battery pack.
Uh... all the times, you do.Sometimes you need longer battery life.
Most times, you don't.
Have you ever used a battery bank with your phone? Like ever, at all? This is truly silly, in my opinion.
But I bet we all know that guy/gal, who is going to buy the Air for the looks, and then use it with the battery pack 🤣.
That’s crazy. Your phone has to be leashed to an outlet for charging the battery pack? Who thought that was a great idea?Yes, you charge both with a wired USB-C cable to the iPhone. The battery pack doesn't have USB-C on itself.
I also think it blocks wireless charging so you need to use wired cables only on the iPhone and to charge the pack, they don't describe anywhere that you can charge the pack with wireless charging either.
Kind of sucks with how many other packs out there at least have a USB-C port.
Cool. Mine's been fine, but I don't use beta software because I'm not a developer nor am I willing to be a non-paid tester.Uh... all the times, you do.
Battery life has been android-level trash since the very first iOS 18 beta and has never recovered.
That list includes the official releases. Glad your's has been cool; that's a word I haven't associated with my 15PM in two years.Cool. Mine's been fine, but I don't use beta software because I'm not a developer nor am I willing to be a non-paid tester.
Looking at the side by side comparisons, if I didn’t like taking Macro pictures so much, I’d be getting the Air. It’s just things like that and LiDAR that’s the main differences now.^ this. Plus: some of us loved the idea of having a larger screen, but were always put off by the size of the Max. I have the feeling the Air hits the perfect spot display size-wise.
Honestly, that disqualifies the Air for me. This design is just stupid.Yes, you charge both with a wired USB-C cable to the iPhone. The battery pack doesn't have USB-C on itself.

You see, it’s actually a very THICK phone that you can break a chunk off of. Let’s see Samsung copy THAT!The new accessory is nice. But makes it pointless to carry around a very slim iPhone with a power bank. Waiting to see the real life battery tests.
I do have a battery pack. But the funny thing is, I have not used it even once. Never had problem getting through the day with my iPhone 13.Have you ever used a battery bank with your phone? Like ever, at all?
Is the USB-C Port in the room with us right now? lolThe description on the product page says that you can charge small accessories via USB-C, so it must have a USB-C port, right?
The Air can be used with other packs, to be fair. The Air also gets basically previous iPhone generation battery life but it's thinner.Honestly, that disqualifies the Air for me. This design is just stupid.
What the page is saying is to use the iPhone's USB port to charge other devices, not the battery pack itself. It can export the power from the external pack to the iPhone and then to another device. The description on the product page says that you can charge small accessories via USB-C, so it must have a USB-C port, right?
Ah, so it truly is useless. What the page is saying is to use the iPhone's USB port to charge other devices, not the battery pack itself.
Huh. Good thing there's a new iPhone Air available with a custom battery pack that could alleviate your issue. That list includes the official releases. Glad your's has been cool; that's a word I haven't associated with my 15PM in two years.
If you're waiting in an airport for even close to 22-27 hours, you're doing it wrong. How much grass can you touch waiting for your flight in an airport? I enjoy being able to charge while walking around or sitting at a bar or restaurant. I can even put my charging phone in my bag while listening with my AirPods.
Why would I ever downgrade literally every specification from what I have now, especially when the Pro Max finally offers 2tb of storage?Huh. Good thing there's a new iPhone Air available with a custom battery pack that could alleviate your issue.
it's clearly for people who want to brag, it has no higher value than a pro version. except the thinness, which I find ridiculous.
What a disaster battery life.
It’s a bit smaller. 3149 vs 3582mAh.The iPhone 17 Air has the same battery as my 16 Pro.
That's very impressive.
Is the USB-C Port in the room with us right now? lol
I saw that that as well, but I do not see it anywhere on that pack. Unless it's on the side that attaches to the phone, in which case it won't be the full depth?
