We're not talking about a phone. We're talking about something tiny around your wrist. With battery life.
The most important thing Apple has to come up with alongside the presentation of the iWatch is a reason to buy one.
Laugh about what? About people who don't need 16GB? My wife has a 16GB iPhone, which always has 10GB+ free. Even if an additional 16GB would cost only 5 bucks, why should she pay those 5 bucks to get memory she never needs?
Circular would have been beautiful, but it's not gonna be circular.
It's gonna be basically the same rectangular thing that Samsung just presented yesterday.
Does anyone have a drawing/rendering of what 1.3 and 1.5 in a circular diameter would look like?
According to Kuo, the iWatch may have a rectangular design and will include 8GB of internal storage with 512MB LPDDR3. The wristwatch will be available in two screen sizes of 1.3 and 1.5-inches in order to accommodate different wrist sizes. Apple may use between two to four different casing materials, with aluminum and gold as two likely options.

The LG G Watch R has a 1.3" circular screen.

So far every iwatch I've seen looks like its trying to find a solution to a problem that doesnt exist.
I'm just hoping titanium and/or ceramic are options. Some of us have metal allergies, and plastic just sucks.
Not that I've even made up my mind about whether I want a smart watch, but it'd be nice to have the option of actually wearing one if I decide it's worth buying.
The G Watch R is the best one so far design wise. Still IMO has rubbish battery life as the Apple watch will I suspect.
Here's a hands on with the G Watch:

Could we please get a round up of all Ming-Chi Kuo's reports for the iPhone and watch? I'd love to see them all lined up.

I wouldn't be so fast. The iWatch actually could be a phone (and I hope it is). As with the latest Samsung Gear and Sony wearable devices that can make calls independent of a phone, we're looking at a possible iWatch-Phone!
If it has it's own sim card and cellular/3g hardware (as does the Samsung/Sony wristbands), you'll be able to leave your iPhone at home whenever you simply need light-weight, water submersible, Dick Tracy calling features (i.e., calling from the pool or out on a jog).
Here's hoping Apple figured out a way to 'share' the phone number with your iPhone, to keep cellular charges to 1 device, and not 2!
Great. Just great!
I'm hoping with you.
