From podcast's XML source, links follow the structure:
http://movies.apple.com/datapub/us/podcasts/apple_keynotes/??????.m4v

?????? previously was sept2009_evt, wwdc2009, iphone-os-3-preview-event-20090317, macworld2009keynote…

So it's hard to guess that ?????, if you guess wrong, you get Apple's 404 page (you have to ignore links in the bottom), and iphone-os-3-preview-event-20090317 example shows that the link may include spoiler of some sort.
You really don't have to do that. Just open this page and it'll automatically check the links for you without having to reload the page.

i usually read through everything i missed in the forum when i get back from school but it got to the point where people were just fighting with each other so im just skipping to here now... and hoping it comes up soon :)

I've been sporadically cautiously watching Sportscenter on and off all day, just waiting for the mention of today's events to turn the TV off... Hurry up, Apple!

Every time I hold out until the video (since WWDC '08), I swear I'm never going to do it again. (Especially last time, which was a long wait for...nothing.) But then the RDF turns on, and I forget all about it...
Kind of like the experience of buying the actual product: opening the box completely erases the memory of its cost.
At least this time, the wait seems a little more justifiable.

OK, methinks this is going to either be a while longer, or appear just after I decide to go to sleep!

I'm going to have to go to bed now (it's 00:40 here in England), and try* to stay spoiler free all day tomorrow until I get home from work…!

*"do, or, do not… there is no try"

I'm going to be really disappointed if they wont post the keynote up…

BUT they always do!

it seems to me like this wait is longer than any other keynote right?

Just came home from seeing Avatar and thought I'll join in on the fun.

I usually stay spoiler-free for Apple keynotes, managed to do that over the last couple of years. And although I'm not really an Apple fan (don't like Mac OS X at all, I do have an iPhone 3G however) I think Steve is the best presenter of our time when it comes to product announcements.

I also wanted to say that there are alot of his old keynotes online (for those who are interested; you might want to avoid searching for them right now though) starting from the original Mac announcement and back from the years when he took over Apple again in '97.

Cheers for this thread and all the scripts/websites that keep us spoiler free with providing links.

Have fun waiting all!

PS

good luck to anyone else who's yawning their way through repeated browser/podcast refreshes, trying to stave off sleep!

one thought to finish with for anyone on the fence about waiting it out or not: i guess the longer we leave it, the further down the pre-order list we'll be : (

It's a feature available to Cocoa apps. Chrome and Firefox are not based on Cocoa.

:mad::mad::mad: I went to open Safari to experience this cocoa-y goodness and just as I did, I realized that either Apple's website or Top Sites would pop up. Thankfully I'm on an old and decrepit PBG4 Ti and I had a few seconds to close the lid most of the way and mash CMD+Q until I saw the blackness of Top Sites go away.

I was so close, too.
