Hey Voidness, you should make it so that the window title is changed to "LINK AVAILABLE" when it is, that way it can be tabbed and you can still see when it comes.
Well, that's also a good idea, currently it does something similar though. Once the link is up, it'll notify you through a javascript dialog box. So whatever you're doing, your browser should notify you.

I know, your wonderful website is loaded now for 5+ hours… (And I would also love to have the source, I think it can be improved in many ways (time since last refresh indicator, sound alert, caching of some sort (if not implemented already))).

But it's about gaining some additional minutes by guessing URL of the stream before it's been posted.
Yeah, it can be improved in so many ways. This is just something i put together in a few hours. I think once we're done from this, I might post a thread with the source code.

I had class all day, so I figured this would be the perfect occasion for my first holdout.

But I don't remember them ever taking this long to post the stream.

I can confirm it is up, but Apple hasn't yet updated the Quicktime page, and that's why the script isn't able to detect it yet.

You couldn't help yourself could you lol

Being both a student and a designer and artist, I'm a longtime Windows tablet user (I'd prefer Linux, but touch/tablet support is paltry, esp. next to Win7).
But my fingers are crossed that the Apple tablet is not just a consumption device and allows for creation (serious creation, not just finger painting). Odds are, though, it'll be more of a mass-market device, even though a digitizer would be huge hit with the very Apple-loyal creative pro market.

Can anybody tell me how long it usually takes for apple to have the vodcast up? I wanna download this through iTunes as I have the *****test internet connection in the world and don't want to watch a jerky stream.
