£269 incl. vat...... that's like 386.88075 Euro (EUR) = 536.29943 US Dollar (USD)
as far is i know they have 17.5% vat... so the phone itself costs (excl. vat; 269/1.175) to ease the compare with the price in the US.
228.93 Brits Pond (GBP) = 329.25134 Euro (EUR) = 456.41274 US Dollar (USD)
that's some $55 more then the US-version thus... (If my calc's are correct)

The US price doesn't include sales tax, which is added on at the point of purchase in most states. The price is fair in comparison to the US.

It's the same price that anybody with half a braincell had been predicting. Why would Apple price the iPhone disproportionately higher than it's other products in the UK?
