Apple's New 2022 iPad Lineup Gives Customers More Options Than Ever

Absolutely gutted by the price hike Europe got. Even the older models, like the Air 5th gen were ramped up so that this mess of a lineup could make some sense. Was waiting for both MS and Apple to show their cards to buy myself a tablet, will end up going the surface 9 route.

Like I said: Galaxy Tab S6 Lite if you want a tablet, anything higher then go M1 Macbook Air

Well it’s a shame the headphone jack is on its last legs. My kids love their headphones with their air 3’s. Luckily they still perform fantastic so I’m sure we can get another couple years out of them. Will have to do a bit of an overhaul of my charging station if I have to start adding 3 sets of headphones to charge as well lol

I don't mind the Pro, but I think the Air needs to go. I don't know how I would explain the difference to a layman. "Uh, it has the internal CPU of the higher end model, body of the lower end, but can use the second generation pencil?"

That when Apple was relatively tiny and fighting for survival.

Modern Apple has far outgrown the days of singular products trying to fit all customers. That simplicity (of product lines) was a casualty of the tremendous success we all celebrate with each "another record quarter." There's no going back to that barring legit doom scenario shrinking Apple back down to "endangered" size. If anything, Apple needs MORE products to try to keep driving even more growth. Thus, rumors of cars and goggles, etc. and realities of $20 handkerchiefs, thousand dollar monitor stands and $700 wheels, etc.
