Yes you are crazy! Pixel is far inferior in both hardware, software and ecosystem. But hey have fun. Everybody I know is loving X/Xs/Xr this is real life benchmark.Wow. Sales for the XS and XS Max must be REALLY bad.
I’ve been an iPhone guy since the beginning. I’ve owned nearly every iteration.
I didn’t upgrade to the X last year and this year I went a little crazy and ordered a Pixel 3 XL.
you gonna downgrade from OLED to LCD?If they produce another Xr next year, I'll upgrade from my X. I'm not a camera buff and don't take many pictures, so I don't mind losing the other lens. It's not as bulky as the Max. It fits right in where I want the size to be. I'd probably get yellow. I don't know why.
The rumor mills claimed iPhone 8 was outselling Xr, so it actually casts doubt on those rumors... just like last year.Statement doesn't mean much. There's no context.
They'll probably just get the iPhone XR with an OLED display.you gonna downgrade from OLED to LCD?
This news doesnt disprove it.Laughing at all the folks who believed the XR production cut rumors.
Just need the share price to tank some more and they'll resurrect the SE.
Apple's VP said. Figures.
How is this an indication of anything except that iPhone XS and XS Max are not selling well?
No real numbers, and comparative figures from before.
He gives a relative sales figure, and the share holders are supposed to be elated that Apple has done something great with this year's iPhones!
It worked; since this statement from around noon today, AAPL has gone up $6, a near 4% jump for the day!![]()

The rumors were that iPhone 8 was outselling iPhone Xr. This shows the rumors are wrong, just like when they claimed iPhone X wasn't selling last year."How is this an indication of anything except that iPhone XS and XS Max are not selling well?"
This doesn't indicate successful / failure of the XS or XS Max at all. It means nothing more than what was said => the XR is the best-selling model every day since it launched. Unless we know what internal management's initial forecasts were, we don't know if the XR / XS / XS Max are a success (or not).
Considering Apple forecast an increase in revenue ranging from less than 1% to a little over 4%, it's much more likely that you're wrong. The analyst are probably wrong too. You're just more wrong.Much more likely that the analysts are all wrong, as usual, and sales of all models is great.
It's also telling the world that people are buying the more expensive XR vs the cheaper iPhone 8 / 8 Plus. So what? When Apple announced the XR at the September event, Tim Cook even said the XR was about bringing X-series features to more people. So they expected more people would buy the XR vs the XS-series of iPhones. In a three horse race, that statement is another way of telling the world there are less people buying the more expensive $999+ iPhone XS/Max phones than the $799+ iPhone XR.
Here's hoping next year they stop the insane $999+ iPhones and bring those prices back down to $749+ (which was the starting price point of the iPhone 8 last year).

Joswiak did not comment on reports of iPhone XR production cuts, and instead reiterated his statement that the device is Apple's best selling iPhone at the current point in time./QUOTE]
Because the XS and XS Max are so damed expensive. Doesn't take much to work that out.
