Does anyone remember last year? Didn't the site have the same or similar error? I can't remember for sure, but I feel like there was an error for quite a long time after midnight last year. I ended up jumping over to the ATT&T site to order my phone. It was after 1 am I think before I actually got my phone ordered. But then I came to Macrumors, assuming no one else could get on Apple.com and people were saying they ordered right away with no problems. It was weird.

Yep, that's what I had to do to.

I remember the "We'll be Back" page stayed up until like 12:11 PDT depending on which CDN you were hitting. I remember it being stressful.

Yes, I am, and weird - in one place it shows my upgrade date for later in the month, in another place it says I can upgrade now. Guess I'll try tomorrow and see what happens. Wonder if I have to do it through Verizon or if I can do it through Apple and they'll recognize the upgrade.

As I recall the app went up but the site was still displaying the coming soon page for a little while afterward. Long story short, I still have the 5s :)

Carriers are doing away with contracts, period. This doesn't bother me its essentially the same price because the no contract plans are cheaper. Get used to it because its not going to change anytime soon.

Except that I'm on unlimited data and the Next program simply does not work cost wise with those who are on Unlimited data. With the 2 year contract upgrades and 4 lines on my account, I never have to pay anything out of pocket for a new phone each year with the re-selling of the previous gen. None of these new payment options can compare to that.

All very exciting, but for many less fanatical users the repositioning of the store as part of apple.com makes finding technical support at present much more difficult. There should be a page holder with links to http://www.apple.com/support/ at the very least.

I have been getting access denied most of the time
