Apple's Online Store Down Ahead of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Pre-Orders

Every year, the same crap from Apple. You figured they'd learn to rent more bandwidth for iPhone pre orders.

But last year they didn't have a Access Denied error, this seems like an internal issue with some servers or something, maybe they're getting DDOS'd like someone suggested above

Can someone explain this to me? I've always pre ordered in store at BestBuy but this year I'm attempting to pre order online from either apple or att's website. Am I gonna be able to order online for the 2 year contract price?

That just proves Apple just doesn't understand internet services.
 
At&t says its going under maintenance, maybe this is a carrier issue and not apples. no phone if they can't check your accounts for eligibility

its easy to blame apple, when in reality AT&T is the one who does not allow 2 year contracts through its third party vendors. This was news months ago.

Keep in mind there is the option to buy the phone unlocked plus also reserve a spot to check eligibility to get the iPhone Upgrade program, both options do not require any carrier.

um i know that. but apple isn't going to open the doors to the preorders unless all systems are up an running with them and every carrier. could you imagine the complaints if only certain carriers were able to preorder over others due to a server issue.
apple would lose customers in a blink of an eye

I completely agree, however in that case they would only leave the store down not the entire site
 
Apple simply can't do any type of launch without completely screwing it up anymore. Tim Cook's Apple.
