Not understanding the fingerprint issue .. not being critical, just not understanding the frame of mind .. as if the screen wasn't susceptible to fingerprints ? or that casual onlookers will say what an AMAZING phone he has .. if it weren't for those few smudges.

Not understanding the fingerprint issue .. not being critical, just not understanding the frame of mind .. as if the screen wasn't susceptible to fingerprints ? or that casual onlookers will say what an AMAZING phone he has .. if it weren't for those few smudges.
Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if someone in this forum made this comment with zero sarcasm!
Not at all an issue of being concerned of what people think of me or my phone choices. It's a personal 'tick' of mine, where I am a perfectionist in these things and smudges/fingerprints on my screens annoy me. I constantly wipe down my iMac's screen (where nobody but me and my girlfriend see it), and I wiped down my Gold 6S's screen fairly regularly (didn't mind the bezels since, being white, I couldn't see them).
Ok. I haven't gotten a new phone since ip5, but I still use it everyday. But a couple of years ago, I hit a rough spot and ATT shut off my cell service. I never turned back. I use my ip5 via wifi
Anyway, I don't expect ATT to pick me up and subsidize my phone. Nor do want to go there.
So I have enough money saved up and ready on my card to get a new 7+, and am expecting/intending to pay full non-subsized price.
My question is:
Will I be able to go thru the Apple Store app and select no carrier and pay the full price given my background with att?
Anyway, I don't expect ATT to pick me up and subsidize my phone. Nor do want to go there.

During more special releases .. (I think the 4 was the hardest to get a pre-order in) if you get it in tonight you'll likely be fine. I recall the 4 was a blur and sold out in minutes, but the site froze .. etc. Every other order I've done if you're here and trying, you'll be just fine. For this launch, without as much enthusiasm .. stop worrying.

Just buy the unlocked phone and then you can take it to whatever carrier you want (pay attention to model -- the AT&T model will not work on other networks I think)

128gb Jet black Plus. First time going to the Plus model, I have a 6s right now, Will it be hard to adjust to the size? I really want the dual camera.
Doubt it. Most of my friends were completely averse to the Plus sizes back when the 6 came out. They got 6's and I got the 6 Plus. Two years later, all of them are going with the Plus model as well.
Even my boss asked me today about the Plus model. He wanted to take a look at my keyboard and he admired how much bigger and easier to type on it is compared to his 6.
For me it wasn't hard (from 5s to 6 plus). You get use to it after only a few days
Yes. I have big hands and found the Plus annoying to use. Can't reach everything with your thumb and isn't comfortable while on your side IMHO.
I was just able to submit my order through AT&T! It made some sound and allowed me to log in about 15 minutes early! I ordered the iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB Black!
