Concerning the Apple Store app...

I need to update cc info. If I update the billing info for the iTunes/App Store via iPhone settings, will that update the Apple Store app also? Apple Store app is down I can't even update settings/billing

Pretty sure, yes. I updated cc info through AppleID site at Apple.

One of the perks of using Apple Pay with the Apple Store app for this is your bank won't decline your odd hours of the night purchase. One of the most infuriating late nights of my life was going through the refresh and site disconnect gauntlet only to be further smacked down by my bank auto declining the charge at the end of it. That phone call to your bank really makes you feel like a drug addict that needs to reevaluate your priorities in life.
When I ordered the 5 in the wee hours of the morning my card kept getting declined over and over and over and over. I found out they automatically decline apple.com orders because of fraud issues. The next day they also shut down my card. When I called, the nice lady at the bank said "Oooook, let's look at your account... Oh, Oh boy you really wanted that iPhone, didn't you?" I told her to make a screen shot and be sure to pass that around for a laugh at the bank.

I feel like iPhone plus is way too big. If I need a bigger screen to watch a video or something - I have a tablet. and 256 gb is just to forget about thinking of what to delete when you run out of space.

Apple has taken its online storefront down in order to prepare for the launch of the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus, and the new Apple Watch Series 2 models. Pre-orders are expected to begin at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time or 3:01 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday, September 9.

Pre-orders will be available through Apple's website, the Apple Store app, several carrier sites, and from major retailers like Target and Best Buy.

Apple will accept pre-orders in first wave launch countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, US Virgin Islands and the US.

The 4.7-inch iPhone 7 is available in 32, 128, and 256GB capacities in the United States for $649, $749, and $849, respectively. The 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus is also available in 32, 128, and 256GB options for $769, $869, and $969.

Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program is available in the United States, United Kingdom and China, allowing customers pay a monthly fee for their iPhone 7 with the option of trading it in after 12 months of payments. Pricing, which includes AppleCare+, starts at $32.41 for the iPhone 7 and $37.41 for the iPhone 7 Plus.

Announced earlier this week, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus feature significant camera improvements, a 4-core A10 Fusion chip, better battery life, water resistance, a revamped pressure-sensitive Home button, stereo sound, new colors, and most controversially, no headphone jack.

Both the Apple Watch Series 1 and the Apple Watch Series 2 will also be available for pre-order. Prices for the Series 1 devices, which include a S2 processor but no other features, start at $269. Prices for the upgraded Apple Watch Series 2, which includes a GPS chip, better waterproofing, and a new display, start at $369.

I think the Jet Black will be limited but prob the 128GB models will be the first to go. I think I'm good with the 7 Plus black 256.

Sucks I'm a business owner. Apple won't blink an eye at my business account. Have to contact my rep tomorrow.

What are you guys thinking for AM order west coast through Verizon business? Jet Blake 7+ 128GB?

are you going to switch to another smartphone? Future models of iPhone will not have headphone jacks

Hopefully future phones have some better trade offs to justify no head phone jack. Personally, I don't care. I think bluetooth is the future and love wireless headphones. But man was this a lame duck iphone release.

Funny how they held back some many features like OLED, smart connector, wireless charging, better form factor, iris scanning (if they ever go that route - just based on rumors) ... I just don't see the benefit of losing the 3.5MM, and gaining what.. a speaker? I would take the 3.5MM over the speaker... but meh.. o well.

Personally, I'll look at a S7 edge or maybe a note once they stop exploding. Hoping to make a decision in 2 weeks. :p I figure I can always return to Apple, but maybe the grass is greener on the other side. All I know now is that Tim took a Sh** on the grass, so after 8 years of iphones I'm gonna put my money where my mouth is and walk.

- Disappointed Apple Customer
ps. I'll spoil the surprise, they are releasing more bands! Rose gold baby!

I'm gonna lease a 128GB jet black 7 Plus from Apple and I'm gonna go naked this year and not use a case, with Applecare+, $29 screen repairs, and water resistance ill take my chances!

I've never pre-ordered any iPhone, do you think iPhone 7 standard 256 gb jet black will last at least first 5 minutes?
Possibly, depends on supply. The higher models are both limited in supply, and in demand, but once the top seller starts running out. Let's just take an educated guess and go for the Jet Black 128Gb model here, buyers tend to go for higher capacity before they move on to other colours.

I had planned on getting Rose Gold, but leaning towards Jet Black after watching the keynote. I guess I'll just wipe it down like a fiend to counteract the supposed susceptibility towards fingerprints (one reason I decided to go with the Gold option for the 6S after having Space Grey for the 6). I just hope I can navigate the site before they sell out.

I've been hampered the last couple of years, going with the base 16GB model, so I'm finally going to bite the bullet and pay more for a larger storage option (very relieved they updated their storage capacities, so I'll be getting 128GB now for the price of 64GB last year).
