That’s a weak argument. Basically, you’re saying anyone who got through the door and established a foothold (enough users to make noise if Apple decided to be a bad Apple) years ago now get a pass and anyone late to the party gets screwed. Would you call that fair? I sure as hell wouldn’t and neither would most other rationally thinking people. Let’s see your reaction if Apple ever decided to nix a competing service you frequently used if they felt they could do it now.
That wasn't stated at all.

The argument was that it hinders the users, and removing apps that iOS users already use was the attempted comparison. You just moved the goal post and to a discussion of the fairness of Apple enforcing it's rules on Steam.

Stay on topic and avoid strawman arguments.

Uh....do understand what this thread is about? Streaming steam games to iOS and Android. And the TV boxes.
I repeat, there's no Steam for mobile platforms. Only Steam Link, which does not provide mobile games.

You're trying so hard to be pedantic that you are just plain wrong. Steam Link is a platform that enables playing games on a mobile device. So it absolutely does provide mobile gaming.

There are plenty of iOS games in the app store that don't work without a server connection, so the artificial distinction you're trying to make just utterly fails and you're wrong on every level.

It is not mobile gaming. It is streaming desktop games to a mobile device in a LAN.

There's a difference because Apple has no case preventing Steam from selling desktop applications (or taking a cut) on their devices. Or plainly forbidding streaming.
