Apple is promoting discrimination, hatred, and exclusiveness towards others by making text messages different between iOS iMessages and Android (annoying green color).
Wasn't green the original color of text messages on iPhones, before Apple came up with their own text messaging protocol (iMessage) for Apple computers? Plus, it is useful to know when a conversation's going over SMS (among other reasons, SMS has far less security than iMessage). That said: You point may stand, if we consider Apple hasn't made an iMessage for Android, Windows, and Linux.
Also, they promote exclusivity by not catering to people of all classes by making phones only for those who can afford them.
Perhaps that used to be the case, but aren't there cheap iPhones now?
It's a very subtle strategy that Apple has used, but when you think about it, hasn't it caused you (including myself) to despise Android users (even mock them) and thinking people who can't afford an iPhone but an android type phone to be inferior.
No, and if it does for you, you've got bigger problems than Apple playing mind-games with you! Even if you're right, even that was Apple's strategy: That strategy only works on people who judge others for the size of their bank account, and not for the content of their character.
That said: Recognizing your own flaws is a sign of good character, so don't be too hard on yourself! Realizing that you have a problem is the first step towards solving it. Just remember that Apple didn't make you judge others for the size of their bank account, Apple only took advantage of that.
Which is not surprising at all, coming from a hypocritical company that claims to promote diversity, yet it has an executive board and a board directors composed almost exclusively by white anglosaxon americans.
It's not a good look when companies talk about diversity and the environment! Companies that treat people as people (i.e. don't care about your religion, gender, race, etc.) and respect the environment don't brag about doing it, they just do it.
