Sorry but I couldn’t be less interested in this. Sure, it will be cool to see the usual YouTube suspects go on and on and on and on about how amazing it is, but can’t Apple focus on fixing the bugs instead of this pointless product?

Just my opinion, I respect yours.
Apple have gone the way of Google. They place more value in launching more 'shiny' new things than fixing the ones they didn't make properly/broke in the first place.

So many articles on this headset, release date, what will it look like, what price, etc, but I haven't read anything or barely seen anything about its intended use.

What percentage of people won't be able to use this device because it makes them dizzy and nauseous? I'm sure I would be counted among them.

I can't use an iPhone Pro Max because it's too large and my hands aren't large enough for a device like that.

Oh well.

The ultimate device for social isolation. I guess I am getting too old, however I feel sorry for our future generations. Take a walk in a park and enjoy the true natural world.
Isn’t that the reason Apple are going AR over VR so it’s mixed reality and not discouraging you living life but trying to enhance the knowledge of life around you?

Even though I agree that this is a concern, it is silly to assert this as fact before anyone has tried this thing out.

I once got to try out Playstation VR with a racing game, and after my first crash (about 15 seconds in) I ripped the headset off as quickly as I could because I *immediately* felt strong motion sickness, and it took me about an hour to shake it off. But there are probably ways to mitigate this with better technology and techniques, and Apple is obviously aware of the issue (because everyone is), so let's see if they figured it out.

For some people this IS how they will "get out and socialize". For example, VR enables many people with disabilities to interact with others in ways they otherwise could not.

Connecting in VR is connecting, just differently.
