Is that a for sure? I was disappointed last year. The Ultra 3's main new 'feature' will be availability in Black Titanium.

I've gotta disagree here. I specifically remember being annoyed in 2006 when the new MacBooks came out with Bluetooth, FireWire, a webcam, and other features that other laptops at the time didn't have. I posted on some site like this one that I didn't want to pay extra for these features that I didn't need and wasn't going to use. Most in the general public probably don't care or need a lot of those features/items.... Apple is in the business of selling products to millions of general consumers... Not customizing computers for a few niche users.
Fairly important debate on that day so I doubt Apple will do it and let that drown out announcement of a new iPhone
Yeah but the lack of blood O2 kind makes the endurance metrics a bit lacking now. I haven’t updated because of this. Even thought the VO2 isn’t the best it’s still useful. As an endurance athlete, I am excited for the Apple Watch Ultra 3. Currently loving my Ultra 2 (for the most part except for some inaccurate workout measurements). Hopefully battery life is also improved. It is still insufficient for long hikes, runs and swims.
Yeah I feel like this is a weak year. Probably the weakest in a long time
Whenever Apple is about to release a new product, the trolls emerge. The iPhone 15 is one of the best products Apple has ever made. I'm waiting for the M4 iMacs to appear. Apple has been great at providing OS improvements for my aging Intel iMac, but the new M4 machines will do a better job more efficiently. I found that to be the case when I traded up from my ancient Laptop Pro to an M2 Air version and I have every expectation the new iMacs will provide similar performance. Tim Cook is managing Apple with a steady hand.I’m with you on that.
But I still really need my Apple products, the Mac’s mostly, an iPad and an iPhone is good to have to.
But beyond the immediate products for me, I look at other places/products as much as I can today.
No Apple products that I yearn for now, at all.
The aging Tim will soon be replaced, hopefully sooner than later.
Hope next CEO will change things to the better at least 😀
Apple doesn’t put the newest chip into the base iPad anymore. Ever since Apple chose to fragment the iPad lineup, the base iPad gets about a two-year-old chip in it. So it’d be more likely to see A16 in the iPad 11. Probably A18 in iPad Mini 7, though.Base iPad refresh. If they want to keep it inline with Apple Intelligence it’s going to need an A18 chip with at least 8GB RAM.
I’d they keep the price the same, which they should, it would steal millions of sales from the other iPads.
Nothing’s for sure until Apple’s official announcement. Is that a for sure? I was disappointed last year.
Hopefully some news about Studio M4 Ultra and Mac Pro M4 Extreme.
The Apple HEDTs languishing with M2s while an iPad Pro has an M4 is disturbing.
Even if they’re not shipping for another year some guidance one way or another would be helpful.
(Tapping on mic. “Is this thing on?”)
The New MacBook Pro:
- AMOLED display
- Touchscreen
- Face ID
- 2K resolution front facing camera
- Metal backlit keyboard
- Trackpad with built in signature capture
- Surround sound speaker tech
- 5G cellular connectivity options with e-sim.
Took me 5 minutes to come up with that list. Mush for brains Tim does this for a living and still can't figure out that a laptop like this would sell like hotcakes. This is why he needs to be fired and replaced with someone who actually know what they're doing.
Probably waiting for increased availability of the A18 to allow for the addition of AI for the iPad mini 7.No IPad Mini 7?
Nope, we just are stuck on the Apple Watch Series 9 forever. Along with my iPhone 13 mini.So those of us with small wrists that the 41mm fitted perfectly are now stuck with the bigger 45mm version!
No. I recently went from the largest Series 3 to largest Series 9, and it alone has been an adjustment. Meanwhile, my wife, and her girlfriends have the smaller 41mms, and shun any other as being too big on their wrists. Are you small wristed?
Granted if you want to surfe and Netflix these old chips are more than enough for everything you need. It’s fun to have my iPad pro with m1 but dishing out the big game just murders the battery so unless you have some sort of pro use like video editing or maybe raw photo editing… i don’t know. Save that 1200 on the m4 pro.Apple doesn’t put the newest chip into the base iPad anymore. Ever since Apple chose to fragment the iPad lineup, the base iPad gets about a two-year-old chip in it. Same. I’m a hardcore Apple fan but 2024 Apple is extremely boring. Hope next year will be more eventful for productsI'm not sure I've ever been less interested in this company
Tim has really ruined this thing (to me)
Let’s hope so. The iPad mini gets refreshed so infrequently that it absolutely needs to have the latest A18 chip to last until Apple decides to release a new one.Probably waiting for increased availability of the A18 to allow for the addition of AI for the iPad mini 7.
interesting point. we might see it a week earlier or later.
Why are common sense improvements on a laptop terrible? This list is terrible and Tim is one of the most successful tech CEOs ever.
Definitely too soon for an Ultra redesign, right? I love mine from a functional standpoint but man is it ugly.

Disagree.Sounds like your own personal wish list... Most in the general public probably don't care or need a lot of those features/items.... Apple is in the business of selling products to millions of general consumers... Not customizing computers for a few niche users.
"mush for brains Tim" lol... I'm sure you would do great as a CEO of a trillion dollar company.
