Apple's Special Version of iTunes That Still Has an App Store Currently Incompatible With macOS Mojave

Same app being updated on macOS and Windows

On macOS, iTunes does not get redirected to https://is2-ssl.mzstatic.com and the download/connection stops after https://xp.apple.com in the same way it stops if you do not enter a password when asked for a new purchase.

Is it possible to use Charles as a workaround? Rewrite ('compose'?) the query (or whatever it's called) -- similar to the procedure for using Charles to download old versions of an app?

I don't think that's possible, I get this message with SSL Proxying enabled

I found a Mac solution: I used Apple Configurator, updated ONLY the apps I needed

Then, before quitting A.Configurator, I looked for
~/Library/Group Containers/K36BKF7T3D.group.com.apple.configurator/Library/Caches/Assets/TemporaryItems/MobileApps

There you will find all your updated apps.
Moved to my library, after making copies of the ones I prefer to check just in case,
and it's done!
Of course you need to delete or move all the apps that stupid iTunes doesn't see updated as I explained for iMazing
and do the re"locate" each app
MADE BY Apple ...almost 😉

P.s. The only downturn is that not all the time Apple Configurator sees the apps that need to be updated 😟
Anyone knows how to refresh the updates ?

For that I found a solution: old mac trick
I created a folder named com.DigiDNA.iMazing2Mac.Mini.plist
A folder cannot be replaced by a file 😈

Nice trick, I usually use another one: delete the content of the plist file and lock it. Works for Chrome.
In the case of iMazing, I deleted the plist and the mini app inside iMazing.

Apple software engineering department just gave a reply to us: We are aware of a problem like this but we don’t have information about whether it’s an interference from the upside, an expiration of an SSL certificate or a temporary error. We will research and reply in the following days.

This is great but if they don't get back to us, there is another way to have more people on board
In each of the updates that we cannot download , we should write a review saying this

😶Impossible to download, because of iTunes glitch that Apple is not fixing

Dear developer, it's impossible for us to download your app or buy new ones from iTunes Enterprise MAC that is used both by businesses , schools and individuals who can't afford to download the same app several times for each device.
Please let Apple know about this issue. For the time being till the issue is going to be resolved, we will not be able to update your apps. Thanks for your support

Just updated A.Configurator but it doesn't still see all the updates I need, only the ones I do not want to update 😣
BTW I already received an answer to my review from a developer

TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are supposed to be deprecated, probably Apple made some changes to its servers that had unintended consequences.
"Therefore, we are deprecating support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1. Complete support will be removed from Safari in updates to Apple iOS and macOS beginning in March 2020." https://webkit.org/blog/8462/deprecation-of-legacy-tls-1-0-and-1-1-versions/

Based on the two updates released in a week for Apple Configurator, I suspect iTunes was blocked due to stupidity, not intentional. It remains to be seen if Apple decides to fix the problem or take advantage and kill iTunes 12.6 on macOS.
Regarding the Windows version, I think it will continue to work, as there is no official alternative for managing devices.

I only saw one update two days ago (Mojave), but didn't do any good because it sees only few apps updates and not all

Thanks, I missed the first and just got the second.
But Apple is still missing the point...not working well since ever!
