amazing job but i think i've got bettter
I agree. There's no way the Pro will work with passive cooling.
oh man i wish ,but they give either .tape is dead ,square is the new design language .or should i say old ,but anywayThis seems like the sweet spot. I find it interesting that their strategy going forward is not to limit the larger display sizes to Pro models as they historically have, including on iPhone.
If they add an OLED display to MacBook Air, and go back to the iconic taper, that would be the perfect laptop.
amazing job but i think i've got bettter
EDIT: increased pricing to 1599 ,but eh we remain within 15 hundreds range do we not

ahaha nice job ❤️
And perhaps the rumored 12" MacBook will be the MacBook mini.Nice take! You know what that is why they're willing to put an M2 pro chip in it for users who require a little bit more, but still don't need full pro level features.
The naming nomenclature just rolls off the tongue.
And perhaps the rumored 12" MacBook will be the MacBook mini.
What is the point of the 13 inch MacBook Pro? It really isn’t in the same league as the other pro models.
Will it be called MacBook Air Max or MacBook Air Pro? Or will this rumour turn out to be just a lot of MacBook HotAir?
Before purchasing the Apple Studio Display, I have the 2020 5K iMac + LG 4K display and 14" MacBook Pro. Now the Apple Studio Display replaced the LG 4K display, I have been using the 14" MacBook Pro in clamshell mode with the ASD, wireless keyboard and mouse most of the time. The MacBook “value ladder” gets completely screwed up if you add a new option between 14” and 16” Pros.
I’m sure Apple might have prototyped a 15” laptop recently. But we won’t see it unless Apple drops the 14” MBP, keeps the 16” and adds an even bigger MBP, 18” or larger.
But Apple also doesn’t want you to replace your Studio Display or iMac with a MBP. So a larger than 16” MBP also is not happening.
Apple are grand masters of product segmentation. Adding a wide variety of in-between options in your product lineup is terrible product segmentation and very bad for the bottom line.
15” cheaper than MacBook Pro MacBook is a leaker fantasy. Never happening.
You forgot: 9. It will be called Mac something. These rumors are kind of idiotic. Here is my prediction of a macbook air 15"
1. It will be 15" or 14-15
2. It will have a keyboard and trackpad
3. The keyboard will not be the butterfly keyboard
4. It will have a notch, maybe bigger, maybe smaller
5. It will run the m2 chip, or maybe something newer
6. It will be a laptop
7. It will come in some colors
8. It may or may not have mini led
These are all assumptions anyone can make and I wouldn't even call them rumors as they are based on logical reasoning. I mean come on...has apple become so boring that articles with assumptions are the only interesting thing anyone can come up with. These aren't rumors, these are guesses based on absolutely nothing new or interesting.
Notches the entire length of all 4 sides! We can rename them borders!hopefully it has notches on all 4 sides!
before anyone complaints about this idea, consider that the central area would still have 2880x1800 pixels (same as other 15" MBP's), so the areas next to the notches would just be "bonus pixels" - everybody wins then, right?? 😁
I’m afraid the wedge is history. I’m glad I got the 2020 M1 MacBook Air; a unique model in that it’s the beginning of one era (M1) and the end of another (iconic “wedge” design…)Love the new updated picture of the MacBook Air.
However, I prefer the old Macbook Air symmetrical design. It's more flushed and iconic to the MacBook Air's.
sad but true... thinking to buy new last available custom 2Tb M1 AirI’m afraid the wedge is history. I’m glad I got the 2020 M1 MacBook Air; a unique model in that it’s the beginning of one era (M1) and the end of another (iconic “wedge” design…)
Why would they call a portable computer “studio,” though?Perhaps it will be called the MacBook Studio
Which is why me thinks this will be a MacBook.I agree. There's no way the Pro will work with passive cooling.
