I placed my order at the 29 price and got the order confirmation. 10 minutes later I went in and checked the status of the order and the order was changed to 99 without my intervention or consent. Interesting.

woah, they did the same thing to me. seems highly unethical without an email notification. i’ve obviously cancelled my order.

No it wasn't, I saw this article and then ordered at $29.99.

Article was published at 8:40am my time, I ordered at 8:53am my time. And I cancelled my order at 11am my time since they reverted my price 😆

As others have said, I had to cancel the order as they corrected the pricing post-order.

it looks like the ones that pricing is changing are later orders--they updated the price in the cart before the store showed so if you ordered after seeing the article its likely the cart price was already changed but the initial product page price hadnt updated yet. I ordered like 20-30 min before the article was up and mine have already shipped at the $29 price. Several others Ive talked to who also ordered are seeing the same.

The care about customer goodwill is just totally gone from this company now.

Anyone who ordered early before the article (and cart price update) seems to have gotten the price honored. Its the later orders after the cart price updated that seem to be the ones getting their prices changed.

Yeah, mine are still showing at 29 each and in processing. Used apple pay for that amount so not sure how they could change price on me. I'd obviously cancel if they do or send back.
