Also hearing that even after pick up, Apple HAS charged card further so it totals up to $99. So even if you pick it up at store, you won’t be getting away with it.

This was my experience. Got charged for $30 and picked them up later with no issues, but then thought to check my credit card before I left the mall. I was charged the $70 difference an hour or so after my initial $30. Returned them to the store.
