I should have selected pick up in store.

However, i placed the order at 930 am eastern. Instantly added to cart and bought it. It's now almost 2pm, order says processing and still shows $30.74 after tax, coming 11/11. Very curious if they allow it.

If they change it without telling and they charge $100 im going to be mad i have to drive an hour away to return it in store.

Looks like you dont need them. So you should cancel anyway.

No way am I cancelling it lol.

They either can cancel it themselves or change the price in the order then I will change it.
But you're driving 1 hour each way to make a return? I'd like to have that much time in life.

I ordered two 4-packs before the price got fixed this morning and had them delivered a few hours later. Felt like a steal deal.

The offer is shocking because these are the AirTags that didn’t pass quality control so they’ll shock you quite literally.

Update 2: Apple has cancelled many of the orders, but some customers managed to receive their discounted AirTag four-pack via in-store pickup or courier delivery.
Also hearing that even after pick up, Apple HAS charged card further so it totals up to $99. So even if you pick it up at store, you won’t be getting away with it.
In its U.S. sales policy, Apple says it "reserves the right to change prices for products at the Apple Store at any time, and to correct inadvertent pricing errors."

The policy also says "Apple may refuse or cancel any order or limit order quantity."
However some states does force retailers to accept pricing mistakes. Would not be surprised if some state AGs go after Apple for violating their fair pricing laws.

Definitely a pricing error. Think all orders will be cancelled. Apple will not sell at such a low price.

I bought some knockoffs from AliExpress for $5. They show up in "find my" and so far seems to show the correct location. See no point in paying the "apple tax" for tracking my stuff.

I'm not trusting AliExpress when it comes to something like an AirTag.

Some things you shouldn't be cheap with.

Here in Quebec, the state law basically says that an incorrect price has to be honored if the difference is small (say, $8.99 instead of $9.99) but not if it's a large error that is obvious to any reasonable customer (say, $8.99 instead of $89.99).

Where it gets weird is that the AirTags are old and SUPER overpriced.

4 for $29 is an actually reasonable price, especially if a new version may be coming soon.

For me tracking isn't critical, it's more of a fun thing and cool if it works. If it doesn't, no big deal I'm not losing anything really important.

Are you referring to tracking something in the mail, or the AirTags tracking your belongings?

AirTags tracking my belongings. Like my suitcase when I'm traveling is cool to see where it is, but it's just filled with cheap clothes so it's not critical if I lose it.
