OK, just figured it out. If you can't view it- press the "AA" in the url bar and go to "website settings." Turn off request Desktop Website" in that SUBMENU. Then press done. Then press the "AA" in the url bar once more to go the MAIN MENU and press "Request Mobile Website" if that shows in the MAIN MENU. If there is a "Request Desktop Website," do not change anything.

AR has been used in wide range of commercial and medical environments for a long time. This isn't new tech. For example, cardiothoracic surgeons routinely use assistive AR in various types of surgeries.
And that's the problem. AR/VR still has very limited and expensive things that matter. If Apple doesn't have a sizeable market for the tech there is no reason to release anything.

I can think of several I'd like to see, but I already know the tech isn't ready and they'd cost far too much.

I can think of loads of potential interesting AR apps for both commercial and non-commercial applications. I'm sure Apple collaborating with Stanford's AR/VR lab for awhile has expanded their views.

The tech is certainly ready. Just requires a bit of imagination to see the potential/possibilities and the will to execute. No doubt in my mind Apple has that covered.

Apple doesn’t have a sizeable market for macOS, but they keep it rolling to the tune of roughly 20 million a year. My prediction: Three years after release (whenever they release it), the unit sales of Apple’s AR/VR solution will outpace macOS.

Huh, when I do that with my iPad Pro, it only sends me the desktop site. Manually choosing “Mobile Website” just sends me back to desktop. Likely why it doesn’t work on the iPad.

i feel like we are all paying for AR R&D just so apple can be cute with their announcements. there is literally no other use for this.

Yes, paying for products from Apple, adding to their revenue totals allows them to do whatever they want. Best thing to do is just stop giving them money so you’re not feeding their cuteness.

‘Code one, code all’ mailers. More or ALL apps to be available on all platforms, with little or no opt-out for developers?

I have an oculus. It’s cool. Needs more and more varied apps for it. Amazed every time that my hand becomes a squid’s hand in Elixer. Love the ISS demo. These Apple “trading cards” aren’t that cool… yet. We’ll see. I need Apple to help me see their vision of AR, because right now, I’m struggling.

Wasn’t hyped for WWDC but if there’s a real move on AR or VR then it’ll be worth checking in. Come on Apple, wow us again.

new MacBook Air colours confirmed (?)

Little snippets of code behind a trading card?!?!? Confirmed! Apple is getting into the NFT space! I can't wait until I can bid on a rare Memoji with a legendary hat. It will be such an exclusive club, you can't put a price on something like that.
