Apps updated for iOS 7

No one knows because Tapbots won't tell their paying customers anything. I don't understand that company at all.

Happened to me too. I'd be using it now too.
 
is instagram ever going to update their icon it's like the only icon I need upgraded for my home screen to be all iOS 7 that app is sticking out like a sore thumb

nope. when they released the iOS 7 redesign the developers said no plans to change the icon because they like how it currently is. only way i see them changing it if there is enough complaints about it.

you gotta be kidding me...they really didn't even redesign their app for iOS 7 just made a few changes I absolutely HATE that Facebook bought this app!!!

Just because Apple updated their icons to a certain style doesn't mean Instagram has to change their branding. It doesn't make sense for many companies to change their branding on one platform when they are on many different platforms.
 
Myfitnesspal just updated their app. New look. They didn't take advantage of the status bar though. I dig.


Edit: just noticed they're still using the iOS 6 keyboard!!

I don't understand your point and don't see how it would change their branding...and there is multiple apps that are on different platforms but have updated their icon to fit apples flat icon design

Redesigning the app icon with a new design style is not equal the changing their branding. That icon is not going anywhere outside a second page in a deep folder of my phone until they change it!
 
Day One just updated their app icon and said their redesign is coming soon in the release notes.

VERY happy about this! 😀😀😀

Coming soon to them meant a couple of weeks i think.

Not sure why they would just release an updated app icon. At least integrate the ios 7 keyboard.

Agreed, but it helped me move it back to my home screen. It felt out of place before and I use the app at least every other day. Hoping it's sooner rather than later...

I agree. Love the app, use it a good 5x a week. Its just slightly jarring going from a transparent keyboard when you're texting to the solid ios 6 keyboard when you write a day one entry.

I know what you mean.. I've been using my Mac for longer entries until they update it fully lol

How does that not equal changing their branding? The icon is seen every time someone looks at their phone. What it looks like is very important. Some companies will not mind having a different logo on different platforms, but some companies will never have different icons on different platforms. It all depends on their internal policies.

Nope, it does not equal!
You don't change the logo in the way it can't be recognised. You change the design style! You telling me that all other brands that made their icon match iOS 7 design did lose their identity?

Did Apple lose it's brand going through different logo styles? I don't think so.

No, I never said that. But I've talked with several developers and a few have no plans to change their logo on a specific platform. It's a fact. You may not agree with it, but there will be companies who choose to keep their logos in sync.

They're on the previous page of this thread. They talked about charging customers again for the app, and then having to backpedal due to an onslaught of complaints (which is what Clear did). Then they capitalized the word 'clear' in the next paragraph to drive the point home. They also talked about how they spent only TWO hours replicating the exact same "trivial" filters that Apple included in their camera app.

I already saw it and I believe their biggest Jab isn't even that one

previously they said something like

"added support for the poorly-selling iPhone 5C" those dudes have some balls...
