Pulse updated, and its HORRIBLE. That app is completely ruined. Thanks a lot LinkedIn.

Luckily I had the 3.2.3 ipa sitting in iTunes. Downgrade!!!

If you do a major release when we are already at 7.0.3 and NOT optimise it for iOS7 then don't even bother.
Or you have various new features you want to launch that you were working on before any new iOS stuff came along and you want to get that out before you delay it even more by having to test it against the new iOS and make a bunch of other changes on top of it.

Unfortunately that's not really an option for me, as I like my automatic updates. Wish you could
Turn them off on a per-app basis.

Anyone know of a similar RSS app to pulse for the iPhone? I hate most of them because there's way too much tapping through screens.

The messages in the normal Facebook app is quick enough so I'm not seeing much point for this at the moment.
Does that still work without the Messenger installed? With the Messenger app installed the Facebook app now appears to simply take you to the Messenger app directly if you go into messages, rather than displaying them within the Facebook app itself.

Why would you want that?

I'm not really saying that I want or don't want that, I'm just saying that's how it seems to work now with the updated Facebook Messenger app and wondering what happens now if someone has Facebook without the Facebook Messenger app installed (if anything changed in relation to that).

No change from before. I don't see the point in having FB Messenger installed when the FB app has it...

I don't get why a basic function like sending and receiving videos is not in the app, though.

It's not really basic, even BBM for iOS and Android hasn't got this feature yet. Maybe they'll add this in a future update

However I am sure you can send videos on the actual Facebook site...

You can make free calls from the messenger app and the interface is much better that's why...

Free calls, as in VOIP-calls to other Facebook Messenger users? I guess that would be a great thing for someone who has limited minutes and having most of the people they call using the app as well, I can definitely see students using it for instance.

BBM isn't really the gold standard to compare to. At least not the iOS and Android version.
