I keep seeing articles about how they read people's messages and stuff like that. I have nothing to hide but that's not the point.

Intersting, can't say I've seen that before. Skype is Microsoft and realistically I'd probably find them somewhat more reliable in different aspects than some smaller companies that run other services and can fly under the radar much easier as most don't even know what those companies are.

The opposite can also be true. A giant like Microsoft can afford to intrude more than small companies that need to keep a good reputation in order to survive.

True although usually they would be under more watchful eyes and under more scrutiny so at least there's that over smaller lesser known companies that not as many people keep an eye on or even pay attention to.
 
I can't believe it's already December and no WhatsApp update... And Keynote Remote doesn't even support the iPhone 5!

What do you guys think of my mockup for it?

Edit: new text tones, swipe back and new keyboard among other things 😀

Hurray that it finally updated! But is anyone else feeling that the app is laggy? The animations when it goes back/you post a message isn't smooth?

Yes, the back animation is not smooth. Other than that, is perfect. It even has parallax 😀

I wonder if they'll release some sort of small update to fix the lag... or if we'll just be stuck with it for ages now :/

That'd really suck...

We should just be happy that we finally have the update. When, we receive an update for the small lag, is irrelevant.
 
The lag in Whatsapp for iOS 7 isn't their fault it's ios 7. If you turn off transparency from settings the lag will go away. Hopefully Apple will fix this in iOS 7.1
