I'm getting that on my 5S. Compared it to the Messages app and it's definitely not as smooth.

Seems to be performing faster than before for me. But then again I have 'Reduce Motion' enabled.

Fast for me as well, but I also have Reduce Motion enabled!

yes there is frame drop when changing landscape when keyboard is on. it sucks

We should just be happy that we finally have the update. When, we receive an update for the small lag, is irrelevant.

I honestly stopped checking this thread daily when Tweetbot was out. I don't use What's App.

I tried to update my chat wallpaper and every time I keep getting a greyish version of the wallpaper, like someone is taking all of the color out of it, it happens on all wallpapers apart from the standard ones that come with whatsapp. Anybody else having this bug?

What do you mean? The new version that was released in the App Store a few days ago is the public release of the new update.
