this article was updated and it looks like the redesigned twitter app for iOS 7 wont be released in time for iOS 7.

bummer :( that screenshot that showed twitter for iOS 7 during the apple key is more what we will be getting next week.. for now anyway.

That's one thing I wish Tweetbot would do. Update the look. I like Twitter's look but hate the ads that show up every so often. At least I'm assuming they do being that I haven't used it in a while.

sounds like facebook app for iOS 7 wont be much of an improvement either from what i have read, just a flatter header maybe at the most and icon.

I'm hoping developers update to use dynamic text sizing (mainly for my mother-in-law who could use a bigger font in Facebook). :)

Viber was updated with "basic iOS 7 support" but I guess it's all underlying as not even the new style keyboard is used. I would assume a proper version comes later.

Here's a nice screengrab from the keynote which shows many important apps that are already redesigned for iOS 7 and will probably be released on the 18th of september.

I really hope Whatsapp won't take as long as they did to optimize the app for iPhone 5.

Let's hope that it will be different this time as most people with iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5C and 5S will get iOS 7 and Whatsapp looks even worse on it then it has ever before. When the iPhone 5 was released the necessity wasn't that high as many countries where Whatsapp has high presence didn't even have the iPhone 5 yet, let alone thinking about the amount of people who actually had an iPhone 5 and used Whatsapp. With the release of iOS 7 they (hopefully) can't ignore the millions of people who have updated to the new version.

I agree, WhatsApp has needed a UI overhaul for a long time now - I don't think it's changed since initial release. I don't have confidence that it would come quickly.

I'm afraid so too. Whatsapp Inc. is such a strange non-communicative company. It has soooo much customers / users, they make millions, but it feels like the company only exist of 20 employees and they don't communicate with their users and no information gets out through sources close to them. So all we can do is wait......

So judging by that, this is what the new Facebook app is like, my dad's been testing the beta version of it on his phone, but with an iOS6 based UI...

I don't like apps getting updated to iOS 7 but not even using the new keyboard style, for example: Flight+, Ticketmaster, Viber etc etc.
