April 1 Ship Estimates are being "Prepared for Shipment"

Looks like my iPad2 will be arriving today after all. Apple was more right than Fedex on estimates.

LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD

Judging by past deliveries there will probably be a knock on my door by noon. I finally get to unbox her tonight and see what treats she has in store for me.

Hope the rest of you guys get yours soon.
 
HOLY SMOKES! I just checked my status & my iPad is on a truck for delivery right now! Even though the estimated delivery still says Thursday, I will have it today.

It left China Thursday night at 11:15 PM & it will be in my hand by 4:30 PM today in Atlanta!

It is a 64GB 3G ATT Black

Mine followed a similar path. I was quite pleased to see how fast it made it.

Yeah, after reading about people's shipments getting stuck in Hong Kong for days and days, it was really quite refreshing. I did not at all expect it would be delivered today.
 
Help!!

Hi everybody, when do you think I can receive my iPad if the shiping date is 4/11 and the deliver date 4/14?, do you think it can be deliver before that date?, it appears not yet shipped.
 
I received a shipping notice email from Apple this morning at 10:30 AM EDT.

Which means my order sat in "prepared for shipment" for just under 48 hours.

Apple says delivery date is 4/4, Fedex says 4/1. Original ship date was supposed to be 4/1, delivering by 4/6. I ordered when store.apple.com said "2 to 3 wks." more info in my sig below.

Delivered 3/28 @9:26AM PST

UPDATE - Mine was delivered today. Went PFS on 22, left Shenzhen on 23 delivered on 28. 6 day turn around.

Check your delivery estimate, either on Fedex of the Apple store order status page.

Not to be a dick, but I don't appreciate getting 2 PM's when I have no idea who you are. I understand you are anxious to get your iPad but please don't go spamming up the forums and people's inboxes.

Congrats! And thanks for starting this thread - it helped me, knowing what was happening with other orders placed about the same time as mine...

Oh I'm out West in Ellicott City. One 64GB white 64GB WiFi delivered just 20 minutes ago. Sitting in her shipping crate while I get some work done. I'll open her up around tea time. (Wouldn't want her to think I was that anxious.)
