Double my move goal 8 times. Should be easy especially since I've started running again with a goal of 25miles/week

That is quite a bit! ;)
But there is hope...

I love these threads, but I want some of you guys and gals to be a little more positive. Yes these goals may be discouraging even overwhelming at first glance, but they are challenges for a reason, to push you a little...or a lot!! I’ve failed some myself, but they’re not going to get me down. Give it a try, I believe in all of you!

Here’s to the best of luck to all for their Apple Watch April challenge month!!

To be honest, it's pie in the sky. The way Apple's algorithm is setting these challenges makes them almost useless.

If someone has been averaging 500 cal/day and has recently increased it to 550/day, it's ludicruous to expect someone to then average 1,000/day.

Sometimes the monthly challenge is too easy. Sometimes it's impossibly hard. Apple needs to get the algorithm settled so that it's motivational, rather than a chore.

I was hit with 77 excersize minutes a day. I have been much more active and my goals i have been given are much more than before.

Hey. I started a Apple Watch Challenge on the Challenges App and would love if more people could join. Here are the details: Facebook Apple Watch Group Challenge''!

First, download Challenges:
http://apple.co/29WoKbl

Once you have the app, enter invite code: '7t7g' or tap on the link below to join:

https://loseit.com/challenges-invite?&eligibilitycode=7t7g

I joined...but may have to withdraw, I think my move goal is set too high for it to be fair.

This is still very interesting though. I hope Apple takes notes and adds something like this to the next WatchOS!! More complex completions, creating teams, etc. Once it kicks off, it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out.

Is this for real? Walk or run 116.2 miles (3.8 miles/day). Not sure what it's thinking as most of my historical workouts are weight training with a few walks/runs on non-workout days.

I ain't gonna hit this one.....

Depending on your job, you can totally hit that just walking around in every day life. Don't give up. I had one for 140 miles in March and thought I'd never hit it, but did it quite easily.

So do we join that team, or create one of our own?

You can join that one. I’m still trying to learn the ins and outs, on how to compete against other teams. I said for the time being I’m going to motivate my teammates until I learn how to compete against other teams.

Because I am a letter carrier for USPS, I’m able to compete my challenges before the half way mark for the month.

Mine is to close all three rings, every day. This one is in the bag for me.

Just curious. Do you wear your watch only when working out? I ask because I think your April Challenge is based on all of your miles, not just when working out. If you get 10,000 steps in, you should be well over 5 miles ... but then again, I don't know how tall you are.

Well, looks like you may be right on this. According to the Awards tab where this challenge is located on the phone, I've logged nearly 7 miles combined on April 1 and 2 so far, but have not taken a strict run or walk workout. So it must be counting steps or logging some other type of movement. Maybe there's hope I might make it!!! ;)
