I started the day with an easy 5k to complete my last 1.3 miles for the challenge.

UPDATE:

Ok, so at this time last week, I needed to average 75 minutes per day of exercise , not including Sunday. I also knew that Friday and Saturday this past weekend would be a challenge due to a planned outing.

So, Mon-Thurs I did good. 78, 67, 80 and 90 minutes for each of those days. Friday and I was still hoping to get in some kind of workouts, but it just didn’t happen. My watch recorded 3 and 24 minutes for each of those two days, but as expected, a huge setback.

So starting today I needed 252 minutes to get it done. I’ll admit I was discouraged. But I decided to make a sacrifice and see if I could do it. 126 minutes per day. I got on my bike and went for an almost 2 hour ride this morning. Due to a couple breaks, I didn’t get credit for exercise minutes during about 5 minutes of the time I was out. But that’s ok. It’s now late afternoon and I’ve tallied 119 minutes. I still have 133 to go to get my award. I will do it.

Here’s the current plan. Tonight, I will do one of my late night elliptical sessions. These usually include at least one episode of Blue Bloods which last 42 minutes each. That will leave me with about 80-85 minutes to do tomorrow to get it done. Very doable.

Done mine a week ago :D
BTW. Is there a way to check total (monthly) distance or steps on aw/iP?

On Health app you tap on “steps” or “walking+running distance”, then you tap “M” (monthly) and there you see average per day. You can multiply by number of days in that month and there you have the result.

If there’s a simpler way I’d like to know it as well :)

Ok, it’s a few minutes before midnight here in Alaska where I am. I spent 45 minutes on the elliptical tonight, putting me at 172 total minutes of exercise today.

I have 79 more to do to get my award. That’s just 2 episodes of Blue Bloods.

Thanks man. Apple... it just works  (this should be doable with one freakin click on aw).

I had a weird month. I moved last week and knew that was going to be crazy. So I really didn't hit the first part of the month hard like I normally do. Moving was horrible as expected, but I finished my 192.1 miles. And it seems I'm also at 360/365 days of closing my move ring. So I have another big milestone coming this weekend!

I DNF’d mine early this month.

I had three “rest” days and used them all up mid month.

I took two trips this month with traveling days so no award for me this month.
There goes my 6 month streak.

Let’s see what May brings.

Unfortunately I couldn’t cut the mustard this for April’s challenge  Here’s to getting revenge in May

That’s an AVERAGE of over 3.5 hours per day needed to get that one. I have to say I’m a little relieved that you DIDN’T get that one. Unless you teach fitness classes for a living or something. That’s just insane.

Good luck in May!!

P.S. I’m slowly chipping down my Minutes needed. Started the day needing 79. Down to 67. I’ll get it done before dark. Or at least before midnight.

Failed April challenge. Expect that cos too tough. Over 27,000 calories. This month move goal 200% 6 times.

Why my Apple Watch only give me one of 2 different type challenge every month? Move 200% then calories then move and back calories etc. Why not give me different challenge??

My February challenge was impossible for me. I had to move 285 miles for the month. Being winter that wasn’t doable. So March was close all rings for the month and April was double your move goal 21 times. And this month it seems doable again, 25 workouts for the month.

Maybe it looks at your previous failed challenge and adjusts it? Let’s hope so.

The goals seem to change at random, but generally get easier if you didn't get the prior month.

Last month I had a mileage challenge, May's is just complete all three rings every day.
