amongst other things no press release would use so many words like "blazing"
 
OH BOY!

I was up at 6 CST US to go to Perkins, and I held off check'n but now i'm back i dont know what to think. The articel about the monkey is that they were in aw of look of the mac and were afraid to hurt it.

Y'know, I thought about using that as an april Fools joke and tell some people that but I figured I would cross a few too many lines with that one.

If Tiger is announced, I wonder if they will have a "Arrival party" at stores where it doesnt go on sale untill 6pm or something like that. I would rather it just go on sale when the store opens.
 
That would be cool if MacRumors was the central point that mentions every Apple-related jokes published on major website (with an obvious "This is an April Fool's joke" comment).

A friend of mine down at CompUSA was going in to work extra early this morning to help receive the shipment of the new liquid cooled G5 PowerBooks due to be announced today.

He was excited when telling me about the features, including the inclusion of the first Blu-Ray laptop drive. He made one comment that I didn't quite understand about them though...

He said they were liquid cooled, and to keep the cooling fluid non-toxic, Apple used cherry Kool-Aid?

Does this make sense?

So what's the verdict then? Is it still coming or can I stop refreshing apple.com and start trying to find some other kind of meaning for my life?
(ok, slight exaggeration but this anticipation is KILLING ME!)

:eek: A horrible thought ....... maybe they did intend to announce the release date of Tiger on April 1st, but after the leaks to ThinkSecret changed it to another day? :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
