The last phone I had (Galaxy Note 3) used about 60 GB. I didn't want to go 2 years on the 64 GB with 3 more gigs to spare, so I went safe and got the 128.

Videos and photography? I like to document my travels with pictures, slow-mo's, videos, timelapses in various National Parks. There is no cloud or big servers to constantly offload images. And the last thing I want to do after traveling into the wild is worry about storage running out.

Good point. While it may be a little inconvenient, some people could probably make do with bringing along a small laptop and external HDD to back up the photos and videos.

I travel internationally quite a bit, so definitely 128GB for me, just like with my 6+ last year, and the last three iPads I've purchased. Although with Waltr (the Mac app that lets you transfer 1080p movie files to the device which can play in the stock video player) it's less essential that I load up a ton of movies before I leave Japan ... slightly less essential, anyway. :)

128GB is tha minimum. If they ever offer 256GB, I'll be first in line.

I always get 128GB. $100 more buys me the piece of mind knowing that I'll never have to worry about running out of storage space on my devices.

I think I will too. It seems over the years the closer I got to the 32gb max the worse my phone and IPad ran. So maybe by having so much more storage space there will be less problems.

64 GB 6S Plus here. Had a 64 GB space grey 6 and had about 19 GB Left over so I figured 64 was enough

I went with 128Gb, although I could have probably gotten by with 64Gb fine. My reasoning was that the larger picture file sizes and videos would potentially chew up a lot more space, but thus far I've still got about 100Gb free... time will tell if this was a silly $100 spend.

Currently have the 64 GB model, but decided to order a 128 GB model. I'd rather have more space available then having little.

I did the same thing. I ordered a 64gb 6s+ and exchanged it the next day after delivery for 128gb. I am not even close to filling it up, but it is good to know I have the extra space. I'm traveling to Asia next week, so I may be taking lots of videos.

128 GB here. Filling up pretty quick with 4K video enabled and Live Photos. I know both aren't "required" but fun to use!

I went with the 64GB.

Most of my music is held via streaming services, or Google Play. Since GP allows 50K songs uploaded for free I use that to hold my music other than my local home storage. So I rarely need to keep anything "on phone" unless I'm going on a trip, and want offline music.

So far so good. I did up my iCloud storage to 50GB for the 99c a month, though.

64GB here but I don't keep much music on my phone. So about half is full of apps and the other half can be filled with photos and videos.

I was going to get the 128GB, but they only had the 64GB sim free one at the apple store, so I took it. I
didn't need the 128GB anyway. If your not sure, it's only $100 difference, go with the 128GB, then you
have nothing to worry about.

That's what happened to me yesterday. I may hang on to it in the sealed box a few day in case a 128gb comes in.

Did you get AppleCare?

No. Never have. I have a screen protector and slim case on my phone, and I figure if anything is defaulty internally
it would probably happen in the first year. I just kinda take a chance.

I had always gotten the middle tier storage of the three, which traditionally had been the 32Gb and is now the 64Gb.

But this time I treated myself to the 128Gb 6s+, due to increased camera megapixels and 4K video.

Especially since I am completely happy to wait to upgrade every two years.
