Went 128, my 64GB 6 was causing me some issues with space lately and rather than clean up I just got the bigger one.

Good job too as got 64gb free!

Had a 128gb 6 Plus and had it mostly filled but went with 64GB this time for the 6S Plus. First, I was paying full price and so crossing over $1,000 with tax for 128gb didn't feel comfortable to me. Second, although I filled up 128gb a lot is because I did it just to do it! Kept like 15 movies on phone I never watched. Downloaded tons of apps I never used just because I could. I filled up the space because I had it.

Now with just 1 downloaded movie and trimming some fat I have about 25gb free on the 64gb. I think this should be fine for the next year till the 7. I stream music and most video and have unlimited data. I will likely go 128 on the 7 since I'll likely get it subsidized on contract.

I only just sold my iPhone 6 Plus for $40 less than I paid for it 12 months ago.
You're the exception not the rule. You must've sold to a friend or family member who were willing to pay top dollar. In my experience of selling iPhones over the last 5 years I'm lucky if I recoup 50% of the $200 between the base 16gb and the 128gb model...

Actually it was on eBay, I got $1200 of the $1240 I paid 12 months prior.

If you're shooting a lot of video or downloading many movies to watch later, the bigger size will be helpful, but $100 for an extra 64 gb? Really? I wonder what Apple's profit margin is with this.

Wow, that person didn't know anything about phones then because they could have got the new 6S Plus for that price. Not one that is already a year old already.

There really is no correct answer. It depends on the user. 64 is fine for me. My wife gets by with 16 without an issue. Our oldest son can't live without 128. :apple:

I got the 64, no need for anything more.
I'd read that clause as "I have no need for anything more" if posted by others but from your other helpful posts it seems like an absolute statement suggesting there literally is no need for anything more. You should tell Apple bro. All those 128gb phones and people using them actually have no need for them. You've like saved the world bro.

the thing is that in my country the iphone is really expensive, the 128Gb version is $450 more than the 16 gb,for God sake, the iphone 6 still cost almost $1000 even after one year of the release of it o_O, that's why i always keep my phone for 2 years, sometimes i read that some people bought a 2hand iphone 6 for $450 and im like : how is that even possible? so i still dont know if u should buy the 6s or wait. reading this topic makes me realize that i need to buy the 64 Gb.

I am taking the advice that I normally give to others and getting the 128 GB I am taking the advice that I normally give to others and getting the 128 GB your mouth unit. Always get the largest amount of memory that you can, you'll not regret it, and you'll get your money back on trade in.

It's too pricey.. It's not about the return price that you will get while selling but the margin that you are ready to forgo in the entire trade.

For example, buying the phone at 950 bucks and selling it for 450 bucks after an year will leave you with 500 bucks as the cost of using an iPhone for a year.. That's too high a premium for using a phone for one year.. Maybe ok for super rich people with a lot of disposable income

128GB - I just like to feel secure because you never know plus I like to keep my whole photo and video library on my devices, loads of offline music and with those ridiculous app sizes like Instagram, Facebook or messenger apps that can easily reach 200mb per app would 64gb be just enough and then I wouldn't feel safe... Ha!

64Gb here.

I feel that 128Gb is an overkill for mobile device. At least for majority of us.

I got the 64gb. I came from a 32gb 5S with about 5gb of free space. I plan on taking more pictures and videos since I have a baby on the way, but I think 128gb would be overkill and out of my budget.

I always bought the most storage available. Made the mistake of not doing that on 6+. Not again. On Next it is only 5.00 more a month. No brainer for me. I do keep non-Apple DVD movies on it, so can use the extra storage.

I normally got 16gb and got by fine - but this time I went with 64gb option just to have more space for Live Photos and record some 4K video.
