I have been hearing issues of the 6 and 6 plus phones starting to lag due to only having 1 gb of RAM. How true is this, and should i get one or wait for the "S" models out in fall ??

They dont lag at all, my 6 Plus runs buttery smooth, RAM doesnt have to do with a phone stuttering or lagging, get the Plus or 6, they are both extremely blazing fast

And why not go try one in Apple Store?

i've had some problems with the keyboard during messages. but other than that no. i think its most likely a software issue with the 6plus

If you can wait, wait for the 6S. Even better if you can wait for the 7, since it would be better than the 6S.

Once you install Oceanhorn you'll realize that system lag is nothing but piss-poor coding.

At the iPhone hacks section.
You've never had an app crash, and you've never experienced ANY lag with your 6+?

----------

Copy and paste a very long list of text into the stock notes app. Then try to scroll down it fast. On any iPhone other than the 6+ this will be a fluid and lag-free operation.

I never had any apps crash and didn't have the need to copy a very long piece of text and then try scroll through it fast.
My 6 Plus just works great and I have no complains or issues at all.

Well, just because you don't experience any lag or crashes during your light operation of the phone, it doesn't mean that it doesn't lag (or crash). I complile long notes all the time and compared to my 2 years+ iPhone 5, it stutters through them when scrolling. Countless apps crash too, and safari reloads for fun.
It's still a phone which has plenty of positives, but those here who deny the obvious negatives are infuriating.

1. Don't use the Countless app. Use one designed for the iPhone 6 plus.
2. If you are infuriated because people don't have the same experiences that you have, then maybe you should try the "get a life" app. No lag on that one at all.

I have just put a whole bunch of text in the notes app, had 10 tabs in safari, 10 on chrome and 2 games and email running. Scrolled notes without a problem. Sorry if that makes you infuriated.

I wouldn't say light operation. I use it plenty every day.
I don't sit there writing long notes and then scroll through them fast to notice a scroll lag so I guess everyones use on their phone varies.
I have over 65 apps installed and they also work fine with no crashes.
I dont want to get you infuriated, I just haven't noticed it since I don't do the particular task. Dont get upset because Im happy with my device:D
