I lf course noticed the incessant tab reloading immediately and was disappointed, but it wasn't until I really tried to use the phone for heavy browsing that I realised how much of a dealbreaker the 1GB of RAM is. It affects basic operational features for goodness sake. This is a 'phablet' and thus should be capable of more intensive use than a typical mobile phone. Come on though, I don't know why we're all bickering. I have my opinion, and believe it to be valid. You have yours and also believe it to be valid. I'm sure that nobody will be grumbling when iPhones finally get two or more gigs of RAM.
I used to complain about tab reloading on my iPhone 5 and was adamant that I wouldn't get the newer i6 due to it having the same amount of RAM. Due to the purchased apps I have and not really liking what the competition had to offer, I plumped for the 6+ after all. What I didn't expect was worse performance than my i5 when it comes to tab reloading. You can't blame me for expecting more of the same surely? I tell no lie, the iPhone 5 reloads tabs and apps *much* less readily than my 6+ and that is my issue with it. I just cannot get my head around why Apple released such a crippled 'flagship' device. This thing is soooo not futureproofed it's unreal! The iPhone 5 is more capable in a key area, and it's more than two years old. In hindsight, I would much rather have limped along with my iPhone 5 for another year and had £700 in my wallet. My 6+ is nothing but a temporary device until the 6S launches, and so in that respect it fills no more of a void than my old iPhone 5 would have.
The 6+ should be at least as good as the iPhone 5 in every respect, and better in some areas. That isn't the case sadly.
