All iPads Are the Ipad air's display uniformity issues on the air 2?

My Air 2, which we got today, has a slight spine along the middle left side when the iPad is in portrait, but as I keep the iPad mostly in Landscape with buttons down I dont notice it. Hopefully I'll forget about it soon until I next use a white page in portrait :)

The keyboard mostly looks evenly colored (the white does, the grey seems a darker on the left but that is I think a by product of the keyboard been semi translucent)
 
^ the discoloration you speak of is related to the translucency.....have the same on mine and screen is perfect/uniform
 
Successfully sold my iPad 4 and bought a BRAND NEW iPad Air 32gb (1st gen) for a steal at 414$. All of these issues made me panic and thin I would have to go to the apple store for my phone AND my new ipad. But theres no bookspine, or yellowing. Just a beautiful display. No light bleed at all either! I feel like my lucks changing after 7+ ipad 4's and now onto my 5th iphone 6. Maybe my luck will continue and I'll get a good one first swap at the apple store!

If you're in the US, Staples has the 32gb Air for 379. Best Buy happily price-matched it for me.
