I'm Female,:p but have been totally obsessed with Macs for years.......Hubby always chuckles about his "Computer Geek" wife. Him and our friends know, if there is a 'puter problem, or a network to be set up, I am the one they call, not him.

Opposites attract.

Your husband is lucky, in as much as he is not "the one" that takes "that" call from friends/family.

You, on the other hand, are in the boat with many of us. Male or female, that role is a chore.

im a girl. i found this site when i was debating to buy a mac or not. its great and has lots of helpful info.

Perhaps its because most people that own Macs aren't exactly poor. So most 'mac girls' sit around the more successful height of society. And the more successful tend to be more inspired, therefore healthier, and of course: Hot.

a lot of college girls just buy it because it looks cute

Actually, as Mac obsessed as I am, I quite enjoy the "happy faces" when I restore their crashed/network challenged/melted down 'puters. Hubby always chuckles, 'cause I just do not look the part of the Computer Nerdette.:p

Nah, so many men have just walked past me, and if the guys are busy and they HAVE to ask me they say "I don't know if you can help me with this or not, but how do I change my desktop wallpaper?" or something like that. When I finish helping them they then say "Oh, I didn't think you'd be able to do it. I was going to wait for one of the boys". Maybe it's an Australian thing??
I visited the Apple store in Bondi Junction(Sydney), when I was there in January....very much Male dominated........maybe they feel undermined by a "Sheilagh"?:p

I'm a girl :) (If a married mother of three, who's pushing 35, can be accurately dubbed a "girl." But "woman" sounds so ... matronly.)

And, fwiw, my Apple habit is fueled not by Mommy and Daddy but by having married someone who took a far smarter and more lucrative career path than yours truly ;)

Not a bad way to go, that, although I imagine being a mother comes high as far as being rewarding goes :)

You've got the great job of passing on the 'mac lifestyle' to your kids :D
