Hello, thank you for your advise. I am looking to use this machine as a college student, but i also video edit in my free time (FCPX) as well as use blender to create models to 3d print as well as to render into images. the video editing that i will be doing will be full 1920x1080 and above, including some 4k shot on my phone. the other thing that i will be using it for is some light gaming, mainly overwatch and tf2, i would like it to be powerful enough to play those games at decent settings as well as possibly be able to stream/record the games as i am thinking about getting into gaming on youtube. I am well aware of the lack of gaming power in mac computers, but i do not have the funds/time/justification to build a gaming rig, which is why i would like the MBP to be at least competent. that is why i was going for the 460. As i am a student i have very little money and dropping something like 300$ on apple care is a little bit out of my price range (i dont even have quite enough money to purchase right now). the cost difference between a 2.6/512/460 and 2.7/512/455 is literally like 9 dollars. so the only difference that i can see is that the 460 will take till early january to arrive and may come with a borked gpu. i realize that i am rambling, but i really appreciate your advise.
FYI i currently have a mid 2012 non-retina MBP 13in, 2.5 i5/500SSD/16gb RAM
