Yup, have to admit I am woefully addicted to mine.
When I sold my iPhone 3G two weeks before the iPhone 4 launch, I was actually lost without an iPhone. Even funnier however, was the amount of times my wife would ask me to find a number or check something online while out and about and I couldn't because I had no iPhone ... even she missed it!
It is frightening how reliant and somewhat dependant we become on the iPhone, but it does so many things in one very small package.
The iPhone has helped me solve random trivial questions that pop up throughout the day
Stuff like, "Why do they put those red balls on power lines" or "What other movies have I seen that guy in?"
Having Google at my fingertips everywhere I go is one of the most addicting things. I even walk down the hall staring at my iPhone (yes, I still look up and greet people) reading a book or working a crossword during the day.![]()
How many times a day do you check email, twitter, facebook, etc? Is the iphone the last thing you look at at night before you sleep and the first thing you check in the morning? Do you feel anxious when you leave it at home?
I am begining to think that the iphone facilitates a connectivity disorder/addiction. Since people can be addicted to gambling, clearly you do not need a substance that causes addiction.
What do you guys think? Is this addiction or are our phones meerly aids like a wristwatch that make us more effective?
Yeah I'm addicted. I'm always on it. I haven't really used my laptop since I've got my first iPhone. Three things I feel naked without, my clothes, my gun, and my iPhone. Don't leave home without them.
Well, technically you ARE naked without your clothes.![]()
