I'm addicted to SWYPE. Since I travel so much, I do my work email on a smartphone. SWYPE is fast & easy. I can write twice as fast on it. I use it on my HTC Desire since Apple forbids it. Too bad, it would be awesome on an iPhone 4.

Cool story, Bro!!!

This thread is so full of truths. The wife always gives me that look when I start messing around on it when we are out, unless Im on Googlemaps. I also moved my MacBook into the office and no longer keep it on the livingroom ottoman for daily use. I now use the iPhone to surf the net and she gives me the look because I've moved the MacBook but replaced it with the iPhone :p

Also as soon as I get to bed I use it for a few to check news/gadget blogs and sports. It's just too difficult to put it down.

so addicited

It's unhealthy at times. I hate myself when I pull it out of my pocket in the middle of a conversation with someone. It's a terrible terrible thing really.

It's nice to have a place where one can admit their obsession. I too am one. I left my iPhone at work last Thursday and the train ride home was miserable.

I had an older iPod to take the next morning on the train ride to work but still suffered. If it had been the weekend a tear would have been shed.

Yep - before I get out of bed in the morning I use it to read my email and check on facebook. At work I listen to music, radio and podcasts. At night I read books on it while I'm in bed to help me get to sleep. I use it to make videos and edit pictures and watch missed TV shows. I use it for eBay and Twitter. It will play restful sounds to help me sleep. I can honk a vuvuzela with it while I watch soccer. I can read the Huffington Post, the Drudge Report, USA Today and the NY Times. I use it to check times that movie and TV shows start. It tells me what I have going on today and when it starts and when it stops. It lets me jot notes. It shows me a map when I need to get somewhere. It converts units of measure. It's an alarm clock. It's a timer and a stopwatch. It tells me the weather. It helps me learn Japanese. I can leave myself a voice memo if I don't feel like typing. It tells me what direction I am facing. I can use it like a mirror. I can track my investments......

Oh yes - and I can make phone calls (as long as the case is on it!) :D

i'm addicted to the point where i take it everywhere i go. and when i say everywhere i mean EVERYWHERE! :D
