Are you annoyed when you see people with their backlight on unnecessarily?

OK, I Have Another One...

The post about the iPhone LED inspired me...

I have a BlueAnt Bluetooth headset that I like a lot. I scored it for only $9.95 in bulk packaging.

But every couple of seconds its rather large blue LED with a crawling ant logo flashes. I look like a friggin' Borg wearing the thing! Why on earth did its designers think this is a good thing???

Yes, I like this Airing of Grievances. I feel better already!

No, i don't care what other people do with their backlight. And right now my laptop is on 16 (out of 16) notches of brightness despite it being 01:28 (AM).

Do you have a problem with that?

My laptop, my rules buddy.
As to make a point, I've just turned my brightness up to full.

When I was at the public library I see a lot of HP backlights on too…Both HP and Apple backlight are nice to look at.
