Wow!! 423,842 miles. That's great !

If I did get another car I reckon something like the X90 would do me just fine…..

It's great fun, especially with the roof off plus it's incredibly robust and reliable. The bonus of them being an acquired taste is that they're inexpensive to pick up, although their numbers are dwindling now.

My everyday car is a 1998 Honda Civic sedan. 5 speed manual. 190xxx miles. Also have a 96 civic hatchback for cruising. A lot of money into it. I am a huge Honda/Acura enthusiast!!

I drive Honda Accord of 2000. I just love my car and don't want to change it. My daughter always ask me to change that old car and buy the latest, but I just could not do that. Last year when we shifted to Miami from Naples I was really scared about giving that car to auto transportation company for hauling since I was not able to drive the car because of my accident. But the company handled my car carefully and delivered my car in the same condition as I had left with them.

My is a 1995 Mercedes Benz E300D with 350,000 miles on it. I did a conversion from auto to 5 speed manual

1998 Toyota Camry, 309,000...runs great no problems at all and has never needed "major" engine or tranny work. Hoping it will last another two year, till I finish school and buy myself a Boxster as a graduation gift to myself.

I bought my first car last year from a friend, a 1997 Chevy Lumina, with now over 218,000 miles on it. Occasionally has some issues, like all old cars, for instance my muffler fell off shortly after I bought it, but it runs nicely still, so I'm happy with it. 🙂

Although our family car is a 2013 Kia Sportage, I currently zip back and fourth to work in a 2003 Citroen C3 1.4 HDR. It's only done 71,000 so touch wood it has a few more years in it. My father gave it to me a couple of years ago and he owned it from now so I know the full history of the car. It's only £20 a year to tax too.

1998 suzuki alto.
998cc 3 speed auto.

has little under 52k miles on clock
That's very low mileage for a car that age. My wife's 2012 Kia has more.
As you just bumped an 18 month old thread, I wonder if the threshold for old would change?
Either way happy to report no!

last owner was little old lady.

she drove to tesco and back once or twice a week.

saw so little use battery died twice and was replaced.

have paper work to prove.

Sounds like my wife's mileage. She has barely put any on hers since she got it.

I average about 10k miles a year in my car.

this is an awesome car.
not fast but cheap to run/insure which is fine by me.

'04 Mazda6 Sport Wagon, 105k miles.

It's the best car I ever had. I'll be buying a Mazda next time too based on my experience with this one. Much better than Toyota and Honda - higher quality materials, better handling, excellent reliability, and nicer looking. Can't argue with that!

2000 S2000 with 130,000 miles (mine)
2003 S2000 with 105,000 miles (wife's)
2004 Tacoma S-Runner with 92,000 miles
